10 people max, SEAL Team (?) operatives must run away from captivity after being ambushed and captured by Takis and return to base from the exfiltration point.
Why are all communities such asshats to people under 16? I'm 14, applied for a community seriously (The Art of Warfare) and they reject it and don't tell me why when asked. Don't tell them your age unless you know them better, then if you really aren't annoying they might be less inclined to be pricks, People constantly mistake me for a thirty year old because of my voice and mannerisms, they are almost always surprised when I say I'm only 15.

basically
"dodging bullet simulator"
It just seems like most of the clans in these realism FPSs are full assholes. You really need to find a group of friends to play games like ARMA or play with the FP group.

I'm a member of TAW and they accept members who are just about any age if they act mature, most of the time the reason people get rejected is because of what the applicant wrote when submitting their application, you did not put in a referral of a TAW member who can vouch for you. I recommend trying to do side missions and stuff with some of the TAW members, there are some quality guys in there that are really enjoyable to play with.
I'm one of 1st battalion's Flight Training Instructors, if you have played with some of the 2nd battalion members and find them loose or something, part of that is due to some of the command staff of 2nd batt leaving TAW and they are trying to organize everything after the holiday season. I have been busy lately so I have not played much on the domination servers. If you ever have a problem with a player/member on the server you can email the Division Commander for Arma 2, FelixLegion at taw.net
If you don't mind me asking, what did you put in your application?

A top secret prototype nuclear weapon is lost during a (relatively) standard transport operation and must be retrieved. An elite NSA wet-work team (that's you) is sent in to retrieve it... however, a contingent of US troops have already stumbled across the device. The national security interest invested in this weapon is paramount, and your team's objectives remain unchanged: eliminate all conceivable witnesses and retrieve the device.
[sp]Basically a "go here and kill everything" mission with a twist- the enemies see you as a friend. The players would be greatly outnumbered, but would be able to follow patrols and learn their routes and positions to plan attacks. The challenge here would be to destroy the opposition and secure this object before:
(a) reinforcements can be called in to murder you (making important to appear friendly to the group as a whole) or
(b) a time limit is reached and they call in reinforcements anyway[/sp]
Might be a bit of a challenge scripting-wise, though.

how about WWI
everyone gets a lee enfield
2 M249s per team

Make or fortify a base, add a bunch of guns, mounted guns, and an AA platform, then swarm the base with enemy helicopters wave by wave trying to hold them off and prevent them from landing inside.
I'm so inventive. :downs:
What about basic fort wars? Two teams, construction module. Enable invincibility, build for five/ten minutes, disable invincibility and the construction menu afterwards. First to destroy the other person's whatever wins.

If I knew how to properly set up and use COIN I would be all over that, just for you. I looked at ZK's Battlezone as an example, and its not a very good example.
It's not hard to use.

Wrong.
2nd objective must not be killing civilians, but feeding them with vodka and leaving them bear pets.

One player is Rambo in the Lingor jungle at night with his m60 and a NVG.
Other players don't have NVGs and need to use low tier weaponry like CZ 550 and lee enfields.

If you want any sort of organized or even semi serious arma2 gameplay, you wouldn't play with the FP group, but just for some fun, yeah sure. :v:
Sounds more like Americans in Vietnam.
since when did americans raid weapon caches?
we just blew them up
One question about Combined Ops, why can't i use the stock ArmA II player voices ? the ones in AO are really fucking dull, they sound like the voice actors were bored or something.
...Actually, nevermind, it doesn't really matter unless you're exclusively playing US BLUFOR.
