Its interesting how an island in the middle of nowhere found out that they were in a game thats rather obscure except for a small community.

Chernarus is actually a part of Czech Republic.

This is the first time they're actually using a real place as far as i know. Or they could be doing the same thing again and the whole thing is a huge misunderstanding

If you are using HE rounds, they will just bounce off. AP rounds/50 cal can kill all the crew inside LAV/BTR, leaving the vehicle operational. In RL US/USMC lav-25's don't have tow's on the side, Instead they have a separate ATGM system that can replace the turret (In battlefield lav has side launchers.)

In ARMA 2 vehicles tend to explode in a giant ball of flames no matter what.

Sorry I missed this post but it seems like you guys just aren't used to playing with ACE. A few 30mm rounds entering an IFV of that kind would shred the crew and everything else it touches. ACE just simulates that by occasionally killing crewmen on non-damaging rounds (but penetrating, you can't not penetrate each other) and exploding the entire thing after 4 or 5 rounds. We actually put like 10 rounds into you of what was probably 20. Regardless, I don't even know why we counted the LAV-BTR games. You guys destroyed us on every other occasion, guess our tankers are just pro :v:
