I remember it taking 15 minutes to fly from the spawn to the last town in ARMA 1. I was the chopper pilot once and botched the landing, killing a blackhawk full of people. Good times.

I can't find my Operation Flashpoint booklet but it's around here somewhere, and I have ARMA 2 on-hand (neither of the expansions, however). Which one has the better mods overall?

Try deleting some shortcuts on your desktop.
I really enjoy playing online again, last time I played was domination in the first ArmA. I never bought ArmA II/OA at the time because of my old PC's stats, it could barely run the first ArmA anyway.
I just played some domination today with ArmA 2 Free in the RPS server and I played the role of helicopter pilot for bringing in/out soldiers. I had a blast, I think I will wait and buy ArmA III when it comes out, it seems the community moves to the next game fairly fast and I don't want to buy ArmA II:CO and have only a few good servers to play on. Kinda annoying how most of the servers go empty at certain times, I really would like to play with some good players but I always seem to miss them, today was just a luckier day.
I still don't get how people are terrible at flying helicopters, I guess I've messed around in the editor enough or played too many sims with copters that I actually have some sort of skill.

I haven't been following Arma 3 yet, because it's still a bit off release, but fuck, the vehicle interiors. I blew my load. Also ingame weapon attachment stuff? Fucking yes! I've always wanted to be able to change from long range scope to a close combat sight in Arma
i know it's just WIP but those vehicle physics looked really wonky :v:
also i hope the white interface is just a placeholder, it looked so terrible in ArmA 1 i really hope they don't go back to it

I hope ArmA3 AI understands 3D movement in areas like towns. It's really annoying only being able to fight battles lying in the street.
