And to be honest, if I recall correctly, the M16/M4 gunshot sounds in that version of Ace were the closest to the real thing than any game or version of ACE since

Yeah OFP had ACE with SMARTER I believe it was, built off of WGL. Put some new life into OFP big time, made it worth playing more so than Arma I thought, until Arma 2 came out anyway. Far surprior

By the way, Combined Ops is only $22 on Steam right now, If you have Arma 2 or OA, then you can upgrade to combined ops for only $19.99.. If you're into Realism and Simulations and shit, there's no better deal. usually you have to join the military for the experience

Most of the big mods are downloadable from there, not only that you can see a server browser with it, and download the mods a certain server is using, then make a shortcut that enables just those mods

I have a question regarding mods in Arma II: ever since I installed a few mods I cannot join a single server, something about keys and content that's not allowed. So how do I join servers without moving every single mod away from my game directory?
Crashed I guess. I was doing pretty well with the Apache until then, 26 kills, Took out the BTR, the T34 and T55 and two Hinds, Also evaded 5 or so AA Missiles... Fired from infantry I guess, Nothing a hard turn doesn't avoid

I was watching you guys drive through that town down there, There was a cloud of smoke in front of you just as the server went down that was FILLED with baddies. I was bringing my Heli to a hover and was about to just lay waste with the 30mm on them
