Apparently Operation Arrowhead has hybrid sights? I've got over 100 hours on ArmA 2 and I've never seen them. Well I've seen them, but I've never seen how to use them.

Press / to cycle through all the sights on a gun and I think vehicles.

Was on a server with about 11 other people, gotta admit the game is really fun.
It's satisfying having a guy come to pick you up whilst you're stuck on a mountain side trying to snipe off a few enemys whilst you pop a smoke to get picked up.

Also does anyone know how to make operation arrowhead less "blurry", I'm on default settings at the moment and I can't achieve what everyones screenshots look like.

Make sure your resolution and 3D resolution are the same in your ArmA settings.
Ugh, I'm having problems with performance. I had some settings before that were perfect but I some how messed that up and no matter what I get awful fps. You guys know any optimization tricks/mods?
These are my specs and resolution I was previously using before I broke everything:
Intel C2Q Q6600 OCed to 3.2ghz
4gb DDR3 1066mhz
AMD 6870 1gb GDDR5
1920x1080
Any help would be greatly appreciated since the game is almost unplayable now.

Try disabling shadows, should run fine with that off.

Make sure HDR is set to "Normal" and not anything higher.
Defrag your hard drive/game folder
Set texture memory to "Default"
Make sure the 3D resolution is set to 100% (or lower)
Turn off AA if necessary.

HDR is always normal since I never saw much of a difference with it higher, I'll try the memory thing again I guess, and I'll defrag if none of this works.

Well it runs a bit better than before, barely though, but now it looks horrible.
I'll probably just wait until I can upgrade of something.
Did you try setting everything to low and checking FPS?

I had E6600 before, that's dual core version of yours and had 20-30 fps on avg on 2k distance I think, with med-low settings.

It may have worked fine with a shittier rig for you, but I bet you didn't have to play the game on that big of a resolution Makol has. That's why it runs so shit for him, cause of the big resolution.

It performed the same when I used a monitor that was 1600x900. Gonna test some stuff and see what's making it run so poorly now. I wish I remembered what I had before, it worked fine with those settings :(
