Does anyone know how to edit the information for yourself in the map screen? Some people when you click on their names they have their name, email, etc, etc... Where do you edit that?

I figured that was it. Server needs to have it and you add the URL. Was hoping it was clientside

No it doesn't. You just dump the files to a webspace or on an FTP server, and then just paste the url for squad.xml into your profile info. Works on every server and is clientside.
If you don't have possibilty to host the files yourself, here is a free squad.xml hosting site:

Haven't tested it but AFAIK even dropping the files on dropbox will work as the dropbox has all the public files under the user number url.
Like mine would be

So I installed ARMA CO on my new computer, maxed out all the settings, and now I can't see anything because it's all a blurry bloomy fuzztacular fuck up.
Best recommended settings for, you know, playing?
We will probably play later tonight as well

What is ARMA CO? Can I play with just ARMA2?
combined operations and no
combined operations and no
Yeah I just looked it up :(. Somebody should host a game with just ARMA 2 so we can all play :D
On another note now my game is making some annoying ass static explosion type noises every time I take a step, and occasionally makes a crow noise, is this the FADE shit that everyone was complaining about?
Going to reinstall arma 2 + OA and all DLCs (Can't get CO working so the only thing i havent tried is reinstalling) Can someone make/post a guide on how to install all the different mods needed to play with you guys?
Best arma2 match yet
I shot down a hind with a AR grenade launcher

Anyone know how to make it so that at first a faction is neutral to a person until the unit fires on an the faction they will turn hostile? I'm trying to make a stealth mission where you go undercover I'm almost done but I just want a way to blow your cover.

Ah very cool, Appreciate it
I desync'd so much on the mission where the russian guy came. And I desync a lot on other servers too, how the fuck can I fix this? It's totally ruining the game experience (since, you know, every goddamn vehicle goes through walls, buildings or tress if they move on the road, or helicopters go through the ground mid-flight).
I have a question:
If I DL'ed the free version, would I be able to upgrade it with a full version CD key? I have a CD key from a GMG promo, but if I downloaded it from their I would have to DL a full 10 GBs and then find out how good it runs on my PC (I am getting very mixed results from multiple system requirements checkers, so I want to see with my own eyes how good (or terrible) it runs), whereas I only have to DL a compressed 1GB installer for the free version.

It's worth noting the free version has lower texture quality, so it's probably going to run better than the actual game anyway.
Aren't GMG keys getting the FADE thing?
Aren't GMG keys getting the FADE thing?
I believe so.
Also, I should mention that nearly all my PC specs are just about near recommended, but I happen to be using a 8400GS.
Is it worth the 10GB download? I hear it runs OK on an 8400GS, but those people who said so were using a monster CPU such as an i7. According to what I have heard, the gameplay is fine at 20FPS unless you decide to get up close and personal (Which IIRC is a bad idea in an ARMA 2).
