The US/British team has to hunt down insurgent stashes, they get markings on the map when they find a briefcase (serves as intel). The marking would have a distance, lets say, 50m. That would mean the cache is somewhere within a 50m radius. The insurgent team has AI and i believe some human players can join the insurgent side, but not as much as the US/Brit. US/Brit is full human.
Sounds fun. I should have my new computer today or tomorrow then I can finally join you guys.
Also in insurgency all villages have red or green boxes. Green are safe and red is possible hostiles. So it's secure-the-village, too.

Finally got ArmA 2 from greenmangaming or whatever. I played a bit of the boot camp and then the 1st campaign. That dream or whatever of the dudes at the Church was confusing. One of the AI teammates was shooting off into the distance but I couldn't see who he was shooting at. And then I got blown up without ever seeing an enemy. :(
And then I did the first campaign mission and accidentally blew myself up with satchel charges when I planted it on the radio. I didn't know that 'touching off' would blow up the charges, I was right next to it. :v:

Last Op I got boring footage, so I didn't bother doing anything with it... As we were clearing a city, My 4 man fireteam held up in a small walled compound with 2 Doorways into it, and a third broken wall entrance, We were walking out of the broken wall, We had 2 Fireteams outside one door way, and a Force Recon fireteam moving past the third doorway. Force Recon opened up on a fireteam member of mine who was 5 feet behind me as they were passing the door thinking he was a bad guy since he didn't have a Chemlight on (Night Op) I had to do CPR on him for almost 10 minutes to keep his medic timer from running out until a Corpseman finally got to us and got him back up. By the time he was up, 3 squads (Made up of several fireteams each) moved up, found the SCUD and was securing crossroads to the south of the town
So yeah, that was boring, but we have a squad level training Op tonight and I'll see what footage I can grab from that

Mods are warfx particles(non-blastcore), ACE, JTD Fire and smoke(unreleased OA version), CAA1, and SLA mod.
It's a dry season in Sahrani. No moisture is causing forest fires from the constant combat; With no fire brigade, the fires are un controlable. In this picture is the devastation after an SLA troop destroyed a jackal with an RPG.
