I've decided to try ACE 2. Can someone give me a link to the latest version for basic ArmA 2?

What do I do to get ACE once SU is installed?

I haven't personally used six updater but it should have a fairly simple UI, you open it up and use it to download ACE into your arma 2 folder.

What's the latest version compatible with ArmA 2?

I'm sort of confused about the Difference between ARMA 2 and ARMA 2: OA. Is OA a complete upgrade in the terms of content? Does it include all of the things in the original ARMA 2, plus more? Really want to get the game. Oh, and what's Combined Operations?

Combined operations is OA and Arma 2 in one package/game.

Having a little trouble with ACE 2. I have no idea how to work anything. How do I do anything? There's no action menu.

I know it's off topic but this is probably the best place to post it... I got ArmA 2 for free from that Green Man Gaming promotion a while back, but every time I want to play it, Capsule feels the need to redownload the game every time it's opened. Obviously it's not just downloading copies of the game, it seems to get deleted then redownloaded EVERY time. Is there any way around this?

I'm really hoping this recent ATI update helped wipe this ridiculous input lag away. :(

I got Cold War Assault(Which means I now own all the ARMA games including the DLC for OA) last week, I am having alot of fun with it despite it's age, larger variety of mods as well(I love the Warhammer mod). Turn Mouse Smoothing down, and turn the Render Frames Ahead down to 1 or 2 in the .cfg file, by default it's at a ridiculous 1000 or something

My computer meets specs for arma yet it still runs like shit. all i've been playing this past like month is operation flashpoint goty edition. i'm getting pretty good at it, it's a shame arma has to be so poorly optimized

I would hope it wouldn't try doing 1000, but even 3 is too much, 1 or 2 is just right

just 0 don't exist in drivers and effectively means 3 or infinity depending on drivers (where infinite is reaaaly bad)
