Hey guys, does anybody have a proper tutorial for installing ACE on my server?
Hey guys, does anybody have a proper tutorial for installing ACE on my server?
Its not hard.. use modfolders for the server. Google it, I've only ever hosted on Linux and I'm guessing you're using windows so I would not know completely.
Is that ARMA 2? Or are those new ARMA 3 screenshots?
Notice the title in the bottom right of the images?
Notice the title in the bottom right of the images?
Oh wow, I didn't see them since the pictures were big.

Does that tank have a railgun??

Man, in the first images I thought that tank looked cool. Now they showed the back of the turret and how ugly it is. I thought it'd be completely circular like the T-90/T-80/T-62/T-55 ect.
then never get behind that tank.
his post never implied this are you dumb ????
curvature in the rear of the turret is one of the most important things in a war game, i'd appreciate it if you didn't call me dumb, because obviously i'm not

one thing that has always bugged me in this game is the bland colours and low contrast, which make it hard to see things. are there any mods that fix this?
I hope when ACE comes to Arma 3 it won't try to add to the futuristic shit. I like Arma 2's setting.
Goddamn it Dwarden!

[editline]31st August 2011[/editline] I mean, Vasily Fofanov lays out the advantages of a bustle autoloader quite clearly:
The bustle-mounted high-capacity ammo magazine/autoloader that allows high rate of fire, fast automated ammo replenishment, eliminates main survivability issue with Soviet tanks, and reduces the height of the tank by 400mm compared to T-80U (allowing increased front armor density).
hush, we have ARMA 3 megathread on this same forum :) please try post all ARMA 3 stuff there :) so i can easier sort out games discussion ;)
At least we can see from that screen shot of Dwarden playing Arma 3 that it will use DX11!
That was p. obvious already.

And besides, military stuff isn't supposed to look pretty, I know sounds this sounds obvious, but still, it kinda implies 'prettyness' wasn't even part of design plan' and that makes it pretty in technical sense. :v:
Anyone still playing? Add me steam guys. Heading in with a strike force team in Warfare now. Dont feel like pressing the little button: "Pimp_E". Echo six out.
I just decided to download Arma 2 using Capsule, you know, that program from Green man gaming? Now, the game decides not to run at all. I reinstalled it multiple times, yet it doesn't work. It says something about it not being a win32 executable or something.
It works fine on 32bit.
I am on a Windows 7 ultimate 64 bit.
That could be from a corrupted exe file. Try installing a patch? Beta?
if anyone wants to help with 1.60 finalizing download latest beta build of OA and try play with it, if you get crash email me the crashdumps :)
That could be from a corrupted exe file. Try installing a patch? Beta?
Patch? Beta? Links please. I downloaded it using Capsule, which is completely legit. Got it from that game give away they had on MoW, ArmA 2 and Tower bloxx. It also says it's about 4.64Gb. Apparantly the game is 7Gb, or something like that.
Hey guys, does anybody have flora lag in Arma 2? Because I do, when I look at one tree it doesn't lag, but when I look at a group of trees I start to lag. This happens on all settings I have.
