Is it just me or Take On preview prevents AI from boarding vehicles?

I've had ArmA 2 and OA for about a year now and I haven't done much with it. Since experience-wise I'm still a new player, does anyone have suggestions about what I should try doing?
Today, I learnt to set my 3d resolution to be the same as my screen resolution. It's a whole new game.
That's what I tell everyone to do, no one listens!
OA is currently downloading now. Feels good man.
anyone know of a good openended singleplayer undead mod mission?
http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=14211 http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=14632 Really good coop missions, with no addons.
So, my textures for Arma 2 look like the free version. What the hell? How can I fix this? It's so ugly, and makes it a pain in the ass to play Combined Ops.
lol
I don't get what's wrong with this? I just played Arma 2 Free now as I play using a core 2 duo laptop. I can run high at 25 fps so can I expect the same/better performance on Combined Operations or will it be worse?
He's a community manager guy of the game.
lol I knew that so what's wrong with promoting their own game? I admit I always see his name everywhere across the internet. Even on official RO2 steam chat. :v: EDIT: Also on RPS chatroom right now with me. I tell you he's everywhere man!

I'm talking about Steam version here as if it's retail I think I'd get the Anniversary edition without second thought. I don't know whether I will be playing previous iterations too.

Something I felt like making, I wish I had a better processor. And a souncard so that I could hear more than 5 simultaneous sounds
you need ARMA 2: Operation Arrowhead (or Combined Operations as it uses OA engine) to be able define number of 3D sounds being used concurrently this option is in Audio settings and allow range from 16 to 128 concurrent sounds ARMA 2 is i think 32 max. (ARMA 1 was 16) 3D sounds 2D sounds are N concurrently (i assume soft-coded barrier is 1024 or 2048)
Oh, okay. I do have the Combined Operations thingy but no Operation Arrowhead :v: Is there a mod to add the "oomph" that comes from an large explosion no matter how far it is? I hopelessly wanted those when the airforce lit that place up.

I've discovered that if you spam "Push (Vehicle)" when in a beached boat, you can pretty much drive it around fucking shit up. It goes up to 30 km/h
chek the latest beta build 85015 http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?t=125437 i suggest to use both on server and client and you shall get some awesome MP experience with new optimizations for MP also if you get any crashes don't forget to share with crashdumps (tho we fixed most)
Having trouble installing ACE. The mod folders are in the game folder, but they're not doing anything. What do I do?
Recheck command line arguments? [editline]2nd October 2011[/editline] Do you use any sort of launcher? If not, you should, makes life easier.
I used sixupdater, it uploaded the files to the game folder. All they do is sit there.
Well, you need to add @modfolders to A2 shortcut to launch with mods. I haven't played in a while, so not sure how six looks now, but it should be able to run mods with it. If not, just google it, there are lots of guides about this.
Wow I can't get enough of Cold War Assault, since I've got it, I've rarely played A2/OA, there's just alot more variety in terms of mods and addons for it than there is ARMA I and ARMA II.
Anyone seen Profan lately? I'm back and ready to host missions for everyone. :pwn:
Is there a way to run Combined Operations on Steam with the beta patches? I haven't been able to figure it out. Unfortunately, it also prevented you from turning at all until you reached the default max speed (30 km/h or so), and slowing down took an extremely long time. You would have to accelerate until you were about halfway, and then decelerate until you reached your destination. Yeah. Fishing in Chernarus Life was quite literally rocket science.
