That picture reminds be of the 70's car chase movies/cop shows. Someone should saturate it with brown and orange and slap some corny title into it and it'd be perfect!

This is the hero Golf that got us to the extraction point. We drove through two huge squads and the chopper was chasing us all the way. At the end only I was left :v:
ARMA PICS
I remember that mission. I got killed because I was shooting in the air so then I quit.
joining the server asap

What's the password?

Join server in the middle of a game, wash up on shore, no one comes to revive me?
:(

and everyone ignores my pleads
You have to realize several things. We were midway through an already VERY bloody mission, Cartel fighters are everywhere, and we had a convoy with 4 VERY valuable FUEL TRUCKS that would have had to drive 10 minutes back through enemy lines, praying we didn't get blown up, grab you, then turn around and drive BACK through said enemy lines. All for one guy. You tell me if that was worth it.
You guys dosent play Operation Arrowhead anymore?
We play with Combined Operations.
Hopefully I will be joining in, but I have OA on Steam and Vanilla on Capsule (Greenmangaming). How would I combine the two? A BAT file, where can I find this if so?
Will I be able to join the server if I have other Addons than Lingor? Like WarFX, etc
snip- profan said you can use mods like warfx, acex sm etc, the keys are on the server.
Was thinking of gathering some people and head on teamspeak. To do some "Life". Would be fun to do a gang and rule the world. **Laughing** Always allot of fun. So write here or contact me and we'll team up.

Profan made a yoma repository for the addons needed in the future. Why? This way we can have more addons on the server without all the hassle of people downloading them separately and joining the server without the proper addons. Once it's set up you can just click update in the client and it'll download everything you need, and every time Profan adds more addons or removes something, you just click update again and yoma will sort it out.
Here's what you need to do:

Now before you do anything, if you have lingor island already installed make a new folder in your arma2 oa folder named @PROFAN and put all the contents of the @lingor folder in there so you don't have to redownload anything!
Download Yoma here:
http://dev-heaven.net/attachments/download/8442/AddonSync2009_Beta1.0.67.msi
Install and make sure it finds your arma2 oa folder.
Go to Favorite Servers and you should see a list of preset servers, click new server and in the Server tab, go to auto configuration.
Find "Auto Config URL".
In that box enter: http://fellowsgame.net/ARMA2/arma2.7z
Now press import server, it should work just like that.
Go to download addons, and press check addons.
Now it will check what you have in your arma2 folder and compare it to what it wants to download, everything on the server is .7z'ed so it will be roughly half the size of the original content.
Just press download and just add the modfolders to your startup and all should be well!
The two folders contain everything you need to play on the server, the extras folders contains stuff you don't necessarely need but could have a use for.

How did the time end up THAT dark for you? I was stalking your squad that entire round and the sun had hardly started to descend when I heard the chopper crash.
Why not use SVN? I think more people here would have that.
[editline]11th October 2011[/editline]
Nevermind, I downloaded it and it's not the same thing.
Hoo I'm unbanned :v:
What do you all think about the new system with yoma?
works great sofar
So, what do you guys do? apart from shooting?
So, what do you guys do? apart from shooting?
Run around? Swim?
There's a reason it's called a shooter.
[editline]11th October 2011[/editline]
But there isn't that much shooting compared to CoD explosions everywhere and bullets everywhere, there's lots of scouting and random stuff you do for missions too.
So, what do you guys do? apart from shooting?
Forest Jogging.
Forest Jogging.
Driving and dodging bullets whilst doing so :v:
[editline]11th October 2011[/editline]
Oh yeah guys by the way lingor has a racetrack :v:
And it's awesome.
should totally get some epic fast car and then we should race cars because race car.
hate.
at least give us revive.
well duh
im not going to make it worse than Profan's
that would be painful
People should really be a bit more coherent during missions, not to mention communicating where the enemy is and not running off randomly unless it's a mission where you can mess around.
I think you would have alot of fun sticking with the game a bit more :v:
People in general need to get microphones
I should make everyone get on TS3 as well :v:
Tip: A good way to make everyone get on TS is to disable in game voice chat.
Through the server config that is.

But it's too much fun to use direct communication ingame :v:

How many people are we talking about? making smaller games with less people usually solves the problem with communication.
