Some tips after a long time playing in the Armaverse..
Make light adjustments to your direction instead of extreme ones to save speed and altitude,
Dont make massive sharp turns or you will loose alot of altitude/control.
Watch some auto rotation tutorials instead of being a noob and instant-bailing into the ground in Multiplayer. Oh and remember to not crash into hills, basically if you're going extremely fast don't attempt to convince yourself that you will come to a complete stop behind some massive hill... you will keep going no matter which way your helicopter is pointed due to the sheer speed at which you're going.
Play the [B]EW[/B] campaign in combined ops as its really cool and provides some fun play with the Apache and some [sp]ground warfare[/sp].
Other then that its mostly getting used to the handling, I recommend playing domination or warfare BE if you're into vehicles.

Well, I just played my first online game (for 3 hours). Was co-op. Don't know what gamemode, but it was us, the players, against NPCs. It was that thing where you take control of different objectives and stuff. My god it was fun as hell. Those moments when me and my squad where in urban environments were so tense. This game is great. Didn't drive a single vehicle though. (thank god)
i suggest to use beta 1.60 to play the game ... due all the AI fixes, other tweaks, optimizations and improvements etc.

You can't see 1.60 servers because they are different build ... 1.60 is not compatible anymore with 1.59
i see 4 servers with it atm. but i agree it's bit hassle for server admins to tell users to use beta

No, 1.60 is the beta. Personally I'm not going to be using it simply because it's that, a beta. If and when it get's fully released though, then I'll use it.
Can someone let me know the key shortcut for window mode in ArmA2? I hit my keyboard with my elbow and it went into window mode, now I can't save my fullscreen settings-it keeps launching in window mode.

I don't know about ArmA 2, But for most programs alt+enter toggles between full screen and windowed.

Was playing co-op warfare last night, had that one light armor tracked vehicle from the usmc. Think it was an IFV badger or something. Shot down 2 helicopters, destroyed 5 vehicles, and killed too much infantry to count. Those things are amazing.

I've always found the best key for the TrackIR reset is end.
hmm, now my mouse has stopped working in the editor. It works normally everywhere else, but clicking in the editor doesn't open up the unit menu. the cursor just changes shapes.
Fixed itself after a restart.

That reminds me of that one time when I detonated a damaged landed attack copter in the middle of a town. Holy fuck I expected a small explosion and instead got a fucking thermobaric bomb.
Me and a friend were playing, we got to the highly contested town and stopped on a ridge about 150 metres away from the big building in the centre, and saw a damaged chopper that had landed and since I had some charges, decided to blow up.
So I ran up to it (somehow not getting shot), planted my charge then ran behind a house about 30 metres away, and detonated. I expected a meaty explosion, but holy fuck what the shit happened? All I heard was a boom, followed by tinnitus and I was dead (even though I was behind a house), while my friend saw everything. Basically it exploded like a fucking ICBM, even damaging my friend who was prone about 100 metres away and causing a huge column of black smoke.
