Project Reality mod is crap. They have licensing system that won't let you make servers for some reason, ACE, JSRS must better combination imao. PR isn't designed for use for independent/unlicensed servers. It's not their intention. I don't really agree with it, but they decided upon it. Now saying it's crap isn't fair. They did put a lot of work into it, and I think they paid a lot of attention to detail and came up with some high quality stuff. Having been on the team and just an addon maker in general, I think the idea that you can label ACE or PR , or other large mods is very unfair to the people who put time into it. If you disagree with the concept, I hear you, I don't like the idea, but the people who put lots of work into the content , whether it be missions, scripting, models or textures, deserve a little more.

They don't let people host games, yet the "official" servers they have picked out have old CPU's that run the server at 10FPS. The mod is too restricting! ArmA2 vanilla > reality mod. Oh and if you suggest they add something from another mod devs and their bitch fanboys rush into the thread and start denouncing it then saying PR team could do it better... so "hard work" is not much of a incentive to support them. Same with SMK animations.[/QUOTE] I never said I liked the community, the concept, or the in-game experience. Now, I'm not sure of the post about JSRS or SMK, but it may have some truth to it. It could be improperly configured, or not structured properly, or in the case of SMK, not following the bone structure properly. As an outsider - perhaps they may sound cocky or what have you, but there is more to addons than just "this one sounds good" or "this one looks good". I don't understand sound modding, and I have limited knowledge on animations, but doesn't mean they don't see flaws. I don't know about JSRS but SMK does have its share of issues, hence why it is still in development stages. Their hard work has nothing to do with what they call other people's addons. Hard work has to do with content, not what they talk about on their forums.

yes but if one helicopter suddenly explodes the others will kick in, redundancy .

If one explodes then chances are very good that the rest will explode due to damage, not to mention the fact that the ones parented to the main vehicle wouldn't actually be able to fly or move on their own accord.

-woah- i'm going finish my namalsk mutant mission even tho the mutants has terrible ai and some other annoying stuff about it. hopefully it'll be fun, mostly infrantry combat (because mutants don't care about you if you're inside a vehicle), low ammo, night with no NV and a it's also a more -random- mission (hopefully). maybe not the tasks, except positions for some stuff. this might change if i have the time. gonna try and implement mutant [url=http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=13651]intercept[/url], shouldn't be a problem. also hopefully some minor random mission etc (save some civies, investigate location etc). suggestions are welcome [editline]21st December 2011[/editline] i need to know how the mutant module works with several players tho
