Anyone tyring to play at like 8pm EST? I haven't played in a long time and want to play some coop :D
Make sure to get the mods we use on profans server we will play around 1 pm est (I think) tomorrow the zombie mission again
Nice one! I quite enjoy modelling, but the entire process to get it in to Arma is such a pain I don't really feel up to it much -I've got a scimitar model I'm planning on making a concerted effort with but since I'm not really gonna be free to work on it until easter (uni's going nuts) I may as well hold off until arma 3
My most happy-with piece of work for arma 2 has been updating the UKF Challenger 2 to the ACE Spec, it's awesome getting the thumbs up on accuracy from a former tank troop commander
I reckon it's not too hard to put a vehicle in game, and when arma 3 is out you'll have shiny new tools (maybe?) and perhaps updated RVMATs, which will make everything go along smoothly. If you need help give me a shout on steam, I know a couple people who would be willing to help out.

I won't be around at that time most likely so...
prepare for a game at around 12 pm est maybe 30mins - 1hr earlier
Trooper, I'm out of leads man I see nothing should be wrong. Good luck finding the problem, though.
I hope while installing Arma 3's tools I wont need to create a whole new drive.
Where can I get the mods you guys use?

what are you talking about, it does it on its own. If you are referring to the p drive, it's structured that way for a reason, perhaps dwarden can explain it properly, I have a rather primitive understanding of it.

Yeah, I don't understand or want the p drive.

mods only work on co fyi
Combined Ops is $7.50 on Amazon today.
retarded and fun: pretty much the description of every arma game...
Yeah, I don't understand or want the p drive.
Well, for one P:/ acts as the "arma2" folder, you put all of your resources or BIS resources if you wish, and structure them the same way you want arma 2 to read them as an addon, ie instead of having P:\foxus_2003units you have P:\foxus\foxus_2003units, which keeps things organized. more importantly, if you want to test something in bulldozer, it's a good idea to have things structured as if it was in game, as a mock trial if you will.
And two, if you don't want it, then don't install the modding tools, because you're going to need it (P:\ drive) as far as I'm concerned. You can take off the .bat file that does a subst command on the armawork folder (usually in your documents folder) from the startup programs if you insist.
wot
i dont have a p: drive and i have the tools installed

Uhh what timezone?
that's like 03:00 gmt+1
So is anyone playing?
Oh man, I made a game where i attached random shit onto a bicycle and made it into a mobile bunker with snipers and turrets attached to it and my friend and i basically mowed through 200 russian infantry using this machine of death.
So it seems we have enough eager players right now, are any servers organized?
I'm going to sit in Profan's Teamspeak.
We could go on profans server maybe?
probably a game tonight, yes. in 6 or so hours.

17:00 GMT?
wait for profan to make an announcement.
I just got my internet back. Good.
guess it's up to 2nd
my suggestion to everyone, get rid of Yoma AddonSync, it's years w/o update, some nasty bugs slowly come to sunlight etc. i may work or may not
use up2date SixUpdater 2.x http://www.six-updater.net/
that's the way for modern modding
I use YOMA because SIX Updater can never complete the action, it is always busy!
never again
That was fun except for the part where I can't host games for 22 people on my mission.

We should all spam Profan until he has no excuse to avoid us.
