I'm not very good with files. When I start Combined Ops, whatever Addon files I have [even if they're in both A2 and A2:OA] never show up on the "Expansions" part of the Main Menu on Combined Ops. Will Addon Sync do this for me? Or do I have to install some other piece of equipment.

Do weapons overheat? Never had that happen to me. Probably because I use semi on every single weapon.
ace also simulates barrel heating fire a zu-23 for 3 minutes and youll see it
That's also in vanilla, with engine heating too. It takes almost 10 minutes for an engine to fully heat up like in the picture :v: But ACE does simulate the gameplay effects of overheating, which is a different matter.

Try the campaign Vent your frustration in to installing Six Updater/ACE Dick around in the editor
Amusing fact: ARMA 2 Operation Arrowhead simulates temperatures in different times of the year for TWS scopes [t]http://dl.dropbox.com/u/8403469/TWS.jpg[/t] Just found it slightly interesting enough to share.
Since when were the multi-colour thermal sight models available in OA? Never seen them, and when I tried to config mod units it never appeared properly The areas which 'heat up' are defined by a texture map -it's perfectly possible just to make a guy's crotch glow bright white when they put in any physical activity; Unfortunately anything without this map just glows bright white, which can mess with the 'auto contrast'/'auto gain' feature of the thermal sights in OA (as compared to BISim's offerings which have the capability for the user to set the contrast/gain of their sight)
I use YOMA because SIX Updater can never complete the action, it is always busy!
please explain .. also what version of sixupdater? cause if you tried SU like year ago (or even older v1) then comparing it with actual build is waste of time (completely different)
Since when were the multi-colour thermal sight models available in OA? Never seen them, and when I tried to config mod units it never appeared properly
Try the L86 AWS, it's a nightvision/thermal sight combo scope.
so im installing this right now, is there like a tutorial or something?
so im installing this right now, is there like a tutorial or something?
There's bootcamp, but it's just for basic controls. If you want complete tactical guide then check out http://ttp2.dslyecxi.com/
