Has anyone tried camping in the small room, under the stairs in FK_Farm? I tried with Berzerker + 44. Magnum glitch to buy as many weapons as i can. And somehow The Zeds are afraid to get into that room.
I've seen specimens spawn out of thin air a couple feet down the Manor tunnels many times.
Is it normal being not able to beat Normal difficulty maps with level 2s or 3s? I have a friend that I play with, and we've only beaten one map ourselves and it wasn't stock.

I've recently learned their key role in the survival of others
Joined a random server, Normal on WestLondon. Guess I'll play some Commando, we already have a Medic and two Sharpies to take care of the big stuff, I'll just do some crowd control. The rest of the team are all level 2 or 3, yet they are terrible. I kill most of the zeds by myself, even the scrakes and fleshpounds. By wave 8, not one of the Sharpshooters have a crossbow, and we get our flesh pounded since I was cleaning the trash zeds to let them take care of the FPs. They did not take care of the FPs. I'm not joining a Normal server anymore.
Hard is easy, try hell on earth. If you fuck around too much as a medic, everybody dies.
Well, considering my friends have never played Killing Floor before (we were doing offline mode on my account, which has all the perks at least at level 4 [Zerker level 3, Sharpshooter 4]), and just the day before we were barely able to survive on Normal, I think we've had a healthy progression. Since we were able to get to Wave 9 three times in a row on Hard mode with just the three of us, next time we play, we're probably going to either do Hard No-Trader, or Suicidal with trader. Wish we had a fourth person, though, to play as a Zerker. We systematically get our asses handed to us by Scrakes, because for some reason they like spawning in trios and quads against us. The MP5 is nice, but there's no way it can handle that many, even with a Firebug's flamethrower in the mix. The Support's AA-12 can usually handle them, but by the end of the wave he's generally struggling to find more ammo, since he's a bit trigger-happy with the fucker. :v:

Otherwise the crossbow does wonders against scrakes, a high level sharpshooter can get a 1-shot kill on him, otherwise 2-3 headshots usually do, plus they stun the scrake if he doesn't die so you can easily get another shot on him. I find the xbow to be a pretty good secondary weapon for a medic. Otherwise take them on one at a time, they're pretty harmless if you don't rage them and stay out of their way. [editline]19th December 2011[/editline] Oh and try to save ammo for AA12 by using it only on scrakes and FPs, or for getting out of a nasty situation. If the support is at least lvl3, you should also be able to carry a normal/combat shotgun along AA12 for killing smaller specimens.
I've been playing mainly hard as a L.6 Sharpshooter, I may move up another difficulty.

Well, looks like my medic is gonna be using a Crossbow as a secondary, as opposed to the M32 (Anti-Fleshpound :v:).

As a Medic, you don't get any damage bonus for the M32 and you won't do much to kill the Fleshpound. However, you will leave a nice smoke screen, which will be a real pain in the ass for whoever is trying to take it down.
What's worse than a Pat spawning nearby? [t]http://cloud.steampowered.com/ugc/596957041122718423/518FA0863E69A7F107E7DAED5453312BBDD56FFC/[/t] His ass. Also the M4 with M203 attachment isn't all that grand.

Hey you think of something to say when you see his jolly fat ass that seems to shine
Hooray, an update I can actually play. For some reason the last few big ones haven't been playable on my PC. Now all I need is someone to play with :frown: Having low level perks, and not playing that much in the past makes finding a fun game hard. Some people take this game far too seriously.
Hey you think of something to say when you see his jolly fat ass that seems to shine
Time to fap

Probably doesn't work nearly as well on Hard difficulty, though. Thanks for the crossbow information, all. :v:
You can just use the claymore to rush and kill the fleshpounds in 4 to 6 or more hits depending on player counts and difficulty, as a level 5+ berserker on normal and hard, but I wouldn't suggest doing that on suicidal or hoe, as the alternate attack with the claymore puts the fleshpound into rage mode right the way and the damage they do whilst in calm or rage mode on those difficulties is crippling.
I think it's finally time to conquer suicidal mode. Particularly since hard is a cakewalk now. Any tips for the hard>suicidal gap?
Suburbia is by far one of the easiest maps, along with London, Farm and Mountain Pass. People like to stay in one place but the most effective strategy is to stay on the move, killing whatever's infront of you and only turning around to deal with high-threat targets or those that are fast enough to catch up.
I think it's finally time to conquer suicidal mode. Particularly since hard is a cakewalk now. Any tips for the hard>suicidal gap?
If you are playing berserker on suicidal, stick with the axe and katana, if and when you are facing fleshpounds, backpedal from them then, quickly get close and use the alternate attack with the axe against the fleshpound move back and dodge its attack, wait a second or two, and then repeat, if you do it correctly, it shouldn't rage and its an easy kill, providing you have a medic backing you up and your team keeping off other zeds to prevent interference.
Beat Ice Cave for the first time. It is an easy map when you turtle in that big icy room with the door and the two hallways, you know the one I'm talking about. Get a Support at the door, a Sharpshooter for the Scrakes and to take the first shot on Fleshies, a Firebug for the corridor on the left. Add a Commando, Medic, and Demolition and you have yourself a nice little unstoppable commando. If everyone plays decently, no one ever gets hurt. Definitely not a Berzerker-friendly map though. I don't think I'll be playing a lot of it, unless I switch to Suicidal (which should happen quite soon as I am starting to win most of my Hard games).

Well yes, it's good for zerk if you are playing solo.

I had this epic moment in Ice Cave where two zerkers, me and some other pubber got cornered back to back in one of the tunnels. About a hundred zeds ran right into our chainsaws (yeah, we were using chains) and it was just constant fucking zed time. We had plenty of time aim our saw at every leaping fucking crawler that tried to jinx us. I was actually out of armor and 50 health when a support blasted my way open with AA12 spam. We ran away with knives, got healed by medic and were about 2000 dosh richer. It was amazing as hell though, I could completely rely on the guy to watch my back so I could watch his, it was seamless zerkerbro-ing.

Dual revolver as simply the shit.
Takes too long to reload. Single revolver. Talk constantly about the THRILL OF RELOADING IN A BATTLE. And then machete the patriarch to death - because fuck that guy. [thumb]http://cloud.steampowered.com/ugc/651000236635713844/9744379FEEF496F0056149D4A8AE799A4F41EDFB/[/thumb]
What? If anything, the revolver is made of pure awesome. Also: AA-12 + Combat Shotgun + Dual Revolver = Ownage
