Killing Floor V3 - Cholesterol Doesn't Kill People - I DO!

One more person on killing trail for at least a half decent experience.
FUCK man, I exploded again after I save up 1000 for a katana as Support and I died. The level 1 commando next to me picked it up and sold it.
Gettin' trolled by my own fucking explosives here goddammit.
I suck at Killing Floor, but somehow I'm often the last one alive, and then we lose.

I had never seen this image. It has probably been posted already, but eh.

Usually I end up carrying everything and failing because my teammates don't know what they're doing, prioritize Clots over Sirens, aggro Scrakes for no reason, run straight at hordes when at low health and ragequit when they die.
Seriously, it's hard for me to find a decent game anymore because every single player ragequits the second they die. Is it so fucking hard to just try and live through the next wave? Some even call me a hacker because I use the weight glitch for funzies in Normal. I mean, it's getting patched eventually anyway, so why not have fun with it when it's still there? If they really want to play serious, go to Suicidal or some shit.
I can understand if they die in a map like Hospital Horrors because that's one of the harder maps. It's a little silly on Normal, but understandable. But when someone dies on Farm, I just don't get it.
Then there was a great example of a clueless cancer player on a match of Offices. A level 0 Commando comes to the Trader with a BLU Pyro skin. He asks for money for 5000 times, I give him 250, he buys body armour and another pistol. As a Commando. All right, fine. Then he gets raped because he obviously thinks he can solo everything, apparently gets his face torn off by a Fleshpound and says "omg ur all fags" and promptly follows up with a ragequit.
Jeez, where are all these horrible players coming from?

level 3 sharpshooter insists on welding every door on the map.
I'm running from a FP (M32 is empty)
run into a welded door
lose 3000 quid of equipment.
"WHAT FUCKTARD WELDED THAT DOOR"

That's the reason I play Support or Zerker all day. Commando for lower waves because crowd control fuck yeah, but at wave 4, when Scrakes appear I'm nopeing the fuck away with my AA12.
Seriously, I remember killing a Scrake and two Fleshpounds with shotgun penetration. Unloading 20 shells from my AA12 killed them all. Felt like a God before three sirens spawned next to me.
My ears still hurt.

I really don't have the melee mechanics down that good.
Support I'm decent at, currently going for rank 5.
but demo is just too fun because of MAD GIBS.
My best perk is medic/SS though

I on the other hand am taking a break from Sharpie. I just can't headshot Gingerfasts. No matter how hard I try it seems to be at complete random when it hits. Zerker is kinda easy because I know where their neck is regardless of their model, but fucking headshots? NOPE.

it's so easy!

Jack Frosts at long distances.

while I headshot them less consistently then normal zeds, I don't find scrakes that hard
I just replaced every single soundtrack in the game with Kelly Bailey's music.
It's not metal, but holy fuck it actually fits. Just imagine running in West London from three Fleshpounds and a Gorefast with this playing:

God dammit two comments in a row saying I was just thinking the exact same thing.
Is Facepunch becoming synced with their members?
So how do I addconnect to servers ingame using an ip adress?
who wants a game?
[editline]26th December 2011[/editline]
killing trail server
[editline]26th December 2011[/editline]
guess not then.
I can host a listen for euros, they usually get good ping on me.
Just look for a name on the server list that says Facepunch. Setting it Long Normal with enabled perks and no pass.
it's too difficult with just two people
or we just suck, either way we need more
A friend and I were about two blasts with an AA-12 away from killing Patty. We duo'd the entire game on Hard difficulty. I was Level 4 Medic, he was Level 4 Commando.
I was 4 rounds short of a full magazine for the AA-12 on that last round, and I think if I had those 4 shots, we could have killed him. He was on his last heal, and I was the last one alive.
I can give you a guest pass :v:
Oh may I have it? That'll satisfy my killing floor needs until I get dosh to buy it, played during the free weekend and loved it
Went Officer Thorne and raped Patriarch by myself about 15 times with a Claymore. As he runs away I keep jamming that huge sharp piece of death in his back and he promptly falls apart, legs torn in half by me.
Then I c-5-1
[sp]Insult Specimens[/sp]
just got the game, and I have to say, it really is fucking fun!
Won the game on steam :D
Planned to buy the complete edition because of all the characters but since I got the regular one for free I'm not gonna complain.

This game is incredibly fun but I can't find anyone around with a fucking brain to play it.
I gave an invite for the game to someone I know in hope he could actually play it and oh boy was I wrong. This dumbass plays it like it's ArmA II - never moves, never launches a grenade, tries to headshot absolutely everything, never heals himself or anyone else. Tried to play with a mic, he hears me perfectly but whenever I give orders or tips or instructions he suddenly can't hear me at all (just enough to tell me "can't hear you").
Also he's persuaded that whenever you pick a certain perk, you're bound to using specific weapons ONLY and absolutely nothing else, ever. So basically he takes sharpshooter and tries to headshot everything with the lever rifle (while being surrounded by 30 angry zombies of course), berserker and tries to dismember gorefasts with his knife/a fire axe, or even better, takes medic and NEVER USES A GUN. Syringe only.
So basically I wasted a guest pass for the game because I gave it to someone who not only can't fucking play the game, but also is too proud of himself to admit it and try playing it any differently (I also tried playing Quake III with him earlier, and he found the game too hard because he was basically taking the machine gun, ducking in a corner and trying to headshot anyone going in front of him).
-justified rant-
Well, using off-perk weapons is usually a bad idea so he was right there. Sharpies are supposed to aim at the head, especially with LAR since it has such a huge headshot multiplier. Trying to headshot absolutely everything is bad, though. Crawlers for example should just be bodyshotted regardless of difficulty. You should probably move unless your entire team is holding out in a specific spot and grenades...meh, I only use them to blow up doors and semi-large crawler hordes.
I can play a few rounds with you, I've been playing KF since it's release and before that, the mod. Depending on which difficulty you want, I can teach you a few useful tips and tricks about the weapons, perks and for example, Brozerker's Crawler Dance technique.
Just throw me a friend invite on steam and I'll host a game for you. My internet is one of the best in Finland so it should give you decent if not good ping.
Actually, I can do this for any new players as long as you can speak English and live in Europe. I know those two don't fit well together, but if you want to learn a few things about the game, I can try and be your guide. Who knows, maybe the more experienced players won't rage at you in pubs any more. (Not that I doubt your skills or anything :v:)

Well I'm just new to the game, but I'm smart enough to know this isn't a game where you are supposed to play and act like a real guy of the military would. I'd be glad to play a bit with you though, probably later as I'm a bit busy atm. Sent you by PM my page link as for some reason I cannot send friend invites.
[editline]27th December 2011[/editline]
Oh wait I could finally invite you, cool
We can play at a later date.
On another note, I DID play a Hard game with some classmates.
I eneded up kiting Patriarch with a HS and -30 weight, crying like a little girl in the mic because I wasn't using Thorne's manly model. I was using the bomb expert and I ran away as a level 6 medic from a Hard difficulty Patty.
Killed him though, just was scary because he was so fast and rough~
