I do like the M14. Lever Action and Crossbow are way better at taking down stuff like Scrakes and FP's, sure, but M14 rapes everything else. I don't even use the sights, if you can get a headshot the next shot will also be 100% accurate, so headshot chains are frigging amazing with that gun, especially the 20 round clip. If you get ZED time and you're stuck in a room full of Gorefasts and Clots. just headshot them all to clear the room. It's a lifesaver and it can also kill Scrakes pretty easily if you know what you're doing. Only problem I have is Fleshpounds, which is also solved by having dual handcannons. Spam a clip of M14 in it's head, switch to dualies when it's charging with rage and spam them to finish it off. Even the reload is fast and the ammo is plentiful. M14 isn't shit but it's not a high-speed Crossbow, just another playstyle.

I like M14+Handcannon alot even when the iron sight is a little to the left. When you have the M14 you become a medium/short range class and with that you can deal alot better with large groups of zeds. Scrakes still you natural prey as long nobody shoot him while you unload the M14 in his forehead, plus the m14 is better when you are on the move. Still the crossbow+ handcannon is way better when you dont have supports, bersekers and demos arround.

During the event I really loved using .44 + crossbow + mp5. Has tripwire said anything about fixing the weight on the .44s to be 2 again?

Just had a round as berserker where everybody kept shooting the fucking scrakes. I said like 3 times not to shoot the scrake when im cutting his shit since i can kill him no problem but still, they kept shooting him and im getting brought down to like 30 health. Fuck.

Scar + Crossbow combo as a SS works for me quite well. Sure, I hve to play one round as a Commando, but it's arguably worth it. :dance:

Never tried to go srs with a SCAR off-perk.

I usually play as Captain Wiggins. What a ridiculous hat :v: Also Katana hunting shotgun Scrake space program is the best. If you try it yourself be sure to alt fire with the katana on the scrakes body, [b]not[/b] his head. It will make him stand still long enough for you to comfortably line up a headshot while crouched.
