I'm going to insist on the electrical baton. Stunned fleshpounders, anyone?
I want nunchucks dammit. Turtles in time shit goin' on. Only melee weapon you can dual wield.
Funny, I myself considered nanchuks but decided it was too ineffective against an fp. But, maybe electric nanchuks?
No, Tripwire should bring melee weapons further back in time. Beating zeds to death with a big wooden club, anyone?
why not a wooden plank with a nail in it or a bat with a nail in it
I think the Sharpshooter should get some kind of sniper rifle.
combat shotgun <3 just used it properly for the first time
How about the aborted Jackhammer shotgun for Support? Could be fucking amazing. 18 shots in one mag, shotgun-like reload (one at a time) and massive damage. Problem is obviously the obnoxious reload. 18 shells like the normal shotgun? Oh yeah, also weight. Something like 10-11 blocks. It's the best shotgun in damage but AA12 gives you more options and reloads a lot faster than it does. It's like a step up from the Hunting Shotgun which would still have the highest burst damage in one push of a button, but Jackhammer has the highest damage in the clip. Probably semi-auto though but as fast as the Combat Shotgun in firing speed.
I think the Sharpshooter should get some kind of sniper rifle.
i think that it was an unused mosin sniper rifle in the files when the christmas update, that late got removed. It could have been interesting have it, like that "heal" grenade.

More damage and zoom, less shots per second than the M14, but less damage and zoom than the Crossbow? I think it could work, replacing the Lever Action as the intermediate weapon.
medic shotgun
I would enjoy a gamemode where its an 'escape' themed map like the zombie mod in css or zombie panic source, in that you have to get your ass to a rescue vehicle/shelter with nukes. wait maybe that's only fun on the source engine because of obstacle courses and the large servers hmmmm

There is a few maps like those check the tripwire forum.
Some objective themed maps would be nice. I liked the whole teammate having to hold down a button while one person brings out the loot thing in the Portal map so maybe some more little objectives for small rewards? Imagine a long, incredibly difficult to defend stairwell on Offices or something, but like a breaker box or generator is in the basement that will turn all the buildings lights on. Being able to start up cars and use the headlights like a fixed flashlight would be cool in maps like Suburbia too. Especially if you like to play as a perk who's main weapons don't have flashlights on them. That and maybe Commando having an ammo box count kinda like the grenade count where you could hold on to one or two ammo boxes to drop at will.
Me and my friends played on Hard to level up our low perks.
Me and my friends played on Hard to level up our low perks. *That .gif pic*
Haha. And the most ridiculous of all: it is a strategy to beat the rounds on beginner and easy. I back from play KF a while. Hospital Horrors and Santa´s lair continues being the only maps that left for me beat on hard. Few players play it, and always happen the same: -We are a good team of LV4-LV6 -We resist without anyone dying the ten rounds. -We are ready to fight the Patriach, just where we want. -Inexplicably, we end killed (in the game of today in Santa´s Lair, the Patriarch killed the 3 players who left alive with a rocket, at long distance, BETWEEN A WINDOW). The Patriarch impress me with their "sniping". For those who beat those maps, what strategy do you used?

And Hospital Horrors has a really good spot in a room with 2 doors, the other door leads to a turn that has stairs.
Today everybody died and I was the last one again But THIS time I actually saved everybody Twice By that I mean the only other guy on the server
playing solo and get to wave 7. all geared uo and ready. fleshpound comes around the corner and gets mad for no reason. shoot the bastards head of with 20 M14 rounds. okay still alive, got some armor left and the doors we-BOSH! oh god two scrakes charge in from the door and three stalkers sneak behind me! i want drugs! NOW!! husk cannon to the face. the damn fleshpounds never kill me directly, but always messes my shit up big time.
I have a pretty easy MO for the Patriarch. I got Medic and only get a light weapon like a medic gun and instead drop an M32 where the rest of my team is hanging to get extra speed with light weight. I then try to search the Patriarch and lure him to chase me. Now that I know where he is (touching my ass cheeks quite greedily) my team of Supports can ready their AA-12's and rape him as I turn around the corner to that long narrow corridor my team's aiming at. I run past them, grab my M32 that I kept stashed near the defense point and spam that shit so hard the Patriarch downs. However, as he runs away I can just repeat that and shoot him in the back with my pesky MP7 to piss him off even more, making him chase me again instead of healing. Rinse and repeat, works best on indoors maps like Biotics Lab, Hospital Horrors etc. Although Patriarch is hella fast on HoE and Suicidal, with some nice turns and well-timed parkour jumps you can still keep your distance when he's trying to probe your anal cavity with his chest tentacle.
I rarely face the patriarch. Either everything goes to shit a few waves prior or my computer crashes mid-way through an unnaturally successful game :(

Then I realized one of my modded music files had the wrong bitrate and it caused the game to crash because it tried to play it again and again with no success, eventually :suiciding:
What folder have the KF sound effects? Also avatar source.
ZONE-Archive, Wakfuck. steamapps/common/killing floor/sounds They're in some weird format though so something simple like Goldwave can't open them.
Talking about bugs, someone have those spikes of lag in-game? my connection is very good, like my ping, and is very annoying because when it happens, suddenly a group of gorefasts killed me. P.D: I thought that it was a fake, but is true that you can make the Patriarch kill himself with their rocket if you close the door just when he is near of it. I had to take a photo...
I remember trying to get a record on unwelding Aperture's GLaDOS door. All six of us went support, unwelded and spammed our grenades at it. With Support's increased grenade damage and 11 maximum nade capacity it actually lowered by 40% in the first wave. We broke it mid-way to second wave and because all of us were Supports we just looted fucking everything and sold it to the Trader for massive dosh. We then camped one of the buttons after switching to Commando. There was a lot of SCAR fire. Trust me, 1-perk runs with 6 players can be fun as shit, where all six of you only play one class and never deviate from it's weapons. Only exception is Medic since Medic has shit guns but on stuff like Normal you can do Medic weapon-only runs too. We were all level six, playing on Hard and it was just ridiculous how anything that came within sight was mowed down by two AK's and four M4's. Fleshpounds were first tickled with some M4 headshots and then anally mutilated with six SCAR's. Shit was so amazing, I want to try out Firebug-only run someday.
;34258275'] Shit was so amazing, I want to try out Firebug-only run someday.
Watch out from fleshpounds they are your very bane. But anything else is pretty easy to kill.
Watch out from fleshpounds they are your very bane. But anything else is pretty easy to kill.
Well, it's nothing too serious, we're kinda doing it just to see how far we can get and actually are surprised that a Commando-only run even succeeded. We figured we'd be raped by Scrakes and Fleshpounds but surprisingly they all dropped pretty fast. Crawlers, Sirens and pretty much everything else bar the Big Duo were raped. Patriarch was a little cinchy, but we just had to lure him into a narrow corridor and spam all we had. It surprisingly downed him since we could see him glowing red and just spammed SCAR headshots. The little critters were quite easy with our secondary weapons and the next time he came in, we spammed two grenades each, totaling up to twelve. Sure, Patriarch shrugged it off but when we started actually firing our guns it seemed to really hurt. We threw all grenades we had left, ran up to him and w+m1'd with SCARs and that was that. Fleshpounds against Firebugs...Hmm, five Flamethrowers and one Husk Cannon. Whaddya say, headshotting FP's and the rest just M1'ing them in the torso with a MAC-10 or something? Everything else should drop if we just concentrate our fire which is the thing we've learned to do here. Basically we all need to leave what we're doing and get together to beat the bigger guys. Sirens coming to us? Fuck it, kill the FP first. FP is dead, we go all together to kill that whining bitch. Such brovery, loving it so far. We're trying Firebug tonight and after that probably Zerker. I'm going to rage so hard at Sirens and Crawlers.
