Clonk Rage: Throwing explosives at friends has never been so much fun - Games

Just got clonk Rage any important tips or hints I should know before I go running in like poor old Leroy Jenkins

I think I pushed it into the water with the sail up, and it said OH WATER, inflated the sail, and rocketed the top, while at the same time the shark said DINNAR, and jumped at me. It moved over the boat as the boat rose up, and it got caught above land.

Sharks do that often, also if you have 2 boats together on that level ontop of each other, one will just sky rocket for no reason, and every now and then when they are together they create the undestoryable terrain "vehicle"

I don't understand why you guys decided to make the clonk IRC channel on some weird obscure IRC server when most facepunchers are in #gmod on gamesurge

I agree with Hezzy, we really ought to just make a channel on Gamesuge, everyone at Facepunch uses Gamesurge anyway. I would rather be able to have hilarious and borderline retarded conversations than to constantly change my server to find out there are no games playing anyway.

Uhm... Ok maybe i'm REALLY REALLY fucking stupid but how the hell do I get a tree into the sawmill? I went into it. Selected 'collect wood' and my little dude went out and chopped down a tree. Then he just stood there holding it. I figured after a minute or so "Oh ok I gotta move it myself". About 15 frustrating minutes later I still can't figure out how to get it into the friggin sawmill to be cut up! Some help please? DX

The tree was probably stuck. Generally when moving trees or other objects, hold whatever your "jump" key is; it lifts the objects so you can get them over hills. When the tree is infront of the sawmill door, click your jump key and it will go inside.

No. I know that. I did that, it wasn't stuck. It was right in front of the Sawmill. Pressing W didn't make it go inside. I realize what it was now though. I was on the 'goldmine' mission which I didn't notice was like a tutorial :downs: Couldn't use sawmills yet. only ele's

Don't use the mouse. Use keymap number four, i think it was, the one that uses the num pad. go up to the tree and hit double throw or did, don't remember which, and then when you're done cutting press down to latch onto the tree and walk to side to side to move it. then, walk it over to the sawmill door and press up. the sawmill will automatically cut it up into logs.

No. I had already remapped the keys. It was because I was on the map 'Goldmine' in which you're ONLY supposed to mine gold. I used a sawmill on the next map and me automatically chopped the tree, took it there, threw it in, and went for another. *not directing this comment at anyone in particular* i'm getting pretty sick of people on this forum not listening to me and/or not thinking i'm competent enough to do shit on my own. So far i've had 3 people talk down to me in a very condescending manner as if I have no fucking clue what I'm doing. I'm competent enough to know when something isn't working, and I'm more than competent enough to know when it's fixed. I'm also pretty damn competent enough to FIX IT too. So please, people, stop condescending to me. I find it EXTREMELY irritating (Not pointing out any names). Also: Off topic, this game irritates me :lol: It's so hard to get anything done alone. It takes forever. Even the simplest thing like mining gold. =P Another off topic: After not playing RA2 for 5 years and then coming back to it (especially with a 900x1440 reso monitor when it only supports 1024x768x16) I remembered how much it sucks compared to C&C3. :lol: (Graphics/Control wise.)

I've just tried this... No idea whatsoever what the hell I'm upposed to be doing... And the "6+" rating has put me off a bit.

Yea I ran in like Leroy Jenkins like someone said and well I found myself trying to out run a massive flood, jumping down a elevator shaft into a massively deep draining pit while trying to land in my friends flying machine. (safe to say I didn't make it) I ended up missing by an inch and feel into the pit where I was harassed by two trapped German kids then finally drowned very VERY slowly

Where can I register this game? And is it free to do so? I'm sick and tired of it constantly giving me impossible versions of "Mountain Range"...

I'd love to play a game with someone else. I can't manage to succeed alone.. I've gotten pretty far in the treasure mission, but I always manage to fuck up. A few of my fuckups: -Accidentally sent lorries (yes. 2.) careening off the slope into the water below (DAMNIT. And I was doing so WELL with a gold mine. I was mining that vein of gold and crystal way down under the ground. Was good money.) -Couldn't find out how to get past the first underground river thing... Seriously how do you do this? There's no WAY to get past it. You can't drill with the elevator underwater. -Managed to blow up an oil field... setting myself AND my elevator on fire. I died.

I died.[/QUOTE] Use a considerable amount of explosives to munch through the soil and rock in order to release the water onto the lava below. Water + Lava = Air

Just because I don't know what IRC is doesn't mean I'm not smart. I didn't actually get internet until I was like 10, and the only chats i've ever used are MSN, Yahoo, AIM, ect. You put the elevator into permanent mode and hang off the bottom dropping flints into the water, eventually you blast through to the lava and it dumps all the water into it, making it much easier to navigate.

Googleboy and I pretty much finished that mission last night. I had the last skull and I was waiting for him to break through a huge crystal field at the bottom to get to me. He brings down the last flint he'll need and he accidentally jumps too far and goes down the hole we had blasted to drain the water. (We drained it on the other side. didn't know the lava was there yet). He manages to get back up and we ALMOST win. Then he got killed by a hive of Zaps... I'm curious. Why is there Oil on this map if we can't use it?

You can. Buy Barrels from the store, throw them into the oil. You should see the oil level drop. Then grab the oil barrel, drop it in the cabin and sell it. In theory you can make a Pump, put the source in the oil, and the "exit" inside your cabin. Make sure you have a ton of barrels there, and I THINK it will pump it right into the barrels inside the cabin. Now you just have to sell the barrels.
