Yeah, that's the lithograph I was talking about it.It's just a lambda, but do you notice the reflection? Looks like a soldier, sort of.
I was more concentrated at the bottom left, is that a rocket?
I don't want to start this image analyzes bullshit again but I was going through the valve merch store to find some posters and I found this I wonder if they're purposely putting half life symbols into pictures just to roll us.
That pic was made by a fan. Valve just sell it. If I'm not wrong.

I want to Episode 3 begin with something that like we don't exactly know whats going on
It should begin in a transport system. (The helicopter maybe), because Half Life 1, Half Life 2 and Episode 2 began all in train. Only Episode 1 doesn't. It ended in a train, like Half Life 1 though.
I'd like to see my legs beneath me. And these features:
Is he playing an already released mod or something he's working on? I'd really like to try that out.
Flying the helicopter is not a logic idea imo, they would be risking of being taken down by a gunship, dropship, Combine Helicopter or some sort of combine weapon or even by an advisor. Maybe we'll get there by another way.
Better not be another cliffhanger like "We shouldn't take the helicopter, the combine could still spot us" and then we have to walk all the way there or get a train only to get to the borealis for Alyx to go "Oh my god, no, oh my god" screen fades to black Half Life 2 Episode Three
I want to Episode 3 begin with something that like we don't exactly know whats going on
Gordon should have a flashback to Half-life 1.

[editline]7th January 2012[/editline]
Gordon should have a flashback to Half-life 1.
The early days?
The early days?
It could be a flashback to the Tram ride, although there some be something completely wrong with it. (Like Gordon gets glimpses of the destruction during the ride and then it goes back to normal) It would mean that the game Starts with Gordon on some sort of Transport like the other games (Although EP1 ends with a train instead of starts with it)
i thought the big picture mode was gonna allow you to use the controller on steam?
Yes, it's just a GUI for steam for use on large TVs. You can navigate it with a controller. No big mystery. I look forward to it.

At the end of EP1 you get on a train which in Episode 2 the train is completely derailed - You are broken from the bonds of the GMan.

But I would be interested in more the early days, the beginning of Black Mesa, old experiments, the great debacle with Aperture science etc.. seeing the black mesa incident and the tram ride would be the deal breaker for me.
This has been sitting on my desktop for a year. Here's the details for the canceled, official Half-Life game (a spin-off) from Arkane Studios, a France based video game developer in collaboration with Valve. Before we start: . This may or not may be Episode Four, which was a game in the episodic series, developed also by Arkane before it was canceled. . This is not an unofficial, third-party add-on. The game was known as "Ravenholm", or "Return to Ravenholm", most likely a temporary title. It was developed by Arkane Studios back in 2007. Episode Four was also canceled in 2007, when Valve decided to put their episodic efforts on hold (1). Anyway, let's take a look at the resumes to learn more about Ravenholm. 1. The leaked resume files from the Eidos servers. Nims Bun Bun was a character technical director at Arkane between 2007 and 2009, credited for LMNO, Ravenholm, The Crossing. http://www.linkedin.com/pub/nims-bun/1a/873/979 Bun's public LinkedIn account http://kiusuke.free.fr/cv.html Bun's resume Regis Capotosto Capotosto is a freelance artist credited for Dark Messiah (2005), The Crossing (2006), Ravenholm (2007). http://www.linkedin.com/pub/regis-capotosto/5/80a/78a Capotosto's public LinkedIn account Florent Perrin I saved the best for last. Perrin was an animator at Arkane between 2006 and 2008, credited for Dark Messiah, The Crossing, Return to Ravenholm. There's Half-Life items in his demo reel.
Somewhat related maybe [t]http://i.imgur.com/K9tlg.jpg[/t]
Seems like fan craft, nothing really.
I wonder if there will be Ichthyosaurs. After all, I am too scared to go in water when playing a game and it often takes an hour of preparation before I can jump in. The Ichthyosaur was the scariest part of Half-Life.
http://e312.mapyourshow.com/5_0/exhibitor_results.cfm?type=alpha&alpha=V : (
It's January E3 is in June bit early to cross valve off the list don't you think?
Valve wasn't on 2010's list until VERY late on.
There's even still hope for an Half-Life ARG, I believe Portal 2 ARG started somewhere in March and then the game was revealed at E3.
There's even still hope for an Half-Life ARG, I believe Portal 2 ARG started somewhere in March and then the game was revealed at E3.
Thought it was April, which is why it was PotatoFools day.
Thought it was April, which is why it was PotatoFools day.
That was the year after, this is the Portal BBS ARG.
There's even still hope for an Half-Life ARG, I believe Portal 2 ARG started somewhere in March and then the game was revealed at E3.
I believe that HL3 won't have an ARG, because an ARG was suitable for Portal 2 because of it's plot and the GLaDOS thing, so I don't see how an ARG fit in the plot of HL3. But I don't say that I don't want an ARG, because I do want.
I'm hoping that somewhere along the line, you have to fight a real combine. Not those human-combine hybrid bastards, I mean the real deal, and not an adviser. I'm talking about a full on 100% Combine soldier.
