Clearly, valve employees will be the hosts of E3, therefore announcing something with a three in it (opening speech) and announcing all "your favourite things" (everything that isn't Ep3).

If the game is somehow actually announced this year, it's not going to come out until next year, release dates permitting, because you don't announce games a month before you release them or something, that'd be dumb. Just saying.

I don't care if they use the EP2 engine. I just want to play another half life story. :)

Just saying.[/QUOTE] They've been working so long on it, the hype is there. If they announce it at E3, they could release the game somewhere around november/december, easily.

I feel there's no hype for it at all, actually. However as soon as there's a hint of it, just a little bit, even a fake one, it's like some shoved a stick into the glowing ashes and the fire just kind of rages on again for a few minutes until it dies... Episode 3 actually being announced would be the same metaphor, but now fill the entire house with wood, and light that bitch on fire.

SHIT now, it's the last day of CES 2012, and still zero news from Valve, not about HL3, but about everything?? Are they hidden in a cellar? I don't understand.

I thought someone said they were at least going to talk about that Big Picture mode they're implementing into Steam.

For those who said there will be no rebels / citizens in HL3 so John Patrick Lowrie won't be needed then look at the Episode 2 Gman scene, rebels are seen in the background whilst gman is talking.
