Just reached 14,000 members!!!! Join up if you haven't already! http://steamcommunity.com//groups/messagetovalve?
I still think that even if that group got literally every steam account to join it that Valve would still ignore it
50.000 would be a good beginning. 500.000 would be ideal.
Suddenly everyone who is in that group is suspended.
GabeN isn't that bad. I'm sure he'll cave and say SOMETHING. Edit: FIRST POST, WOOOOOOOO~!!!
Welcome to the forums. [editline]adsasd[/editline] Don't let the door hit you on the way out.

Post that shit fucking everywhere, we need to get as many people as possible to join.
I'd rather be surprised with what ValvE has in store for us. I think their hardcore secrecy gives the game more publicity, because we have no idea what to expect. Making them give us answers (or trying) seems very unfaithful as a fan, and honestly would be kind of disappointing to a lot of people if they caved in.

I think all the excitement is just jet fuel for Gabe... if I were him, that would be for me.
Now that I think about it, it's pretty funny that the most we'll get out of this whole "Call for Communication" thing (And this is being unbelievably optimistic) is some rushed media that people will complain about because it looks rushed or unfinished, even though they wanted it in the first place. I was indecisive at first, but I'm really taking Valve's side here. No amount of crowbars or Steam petition groups are going to change when they'll be ready to release proper media to the public. We're either going to be bitching about it taking too long or we'll be bitching about it looking rushed, so just stick with speculation and jokes until they're actually ready to show something.
So I've been popping my head in here for a few weeks, and I really got to say more people need to relax about this whole Half-Life 3/Episode 3 thing. I don't feel like this wait is unjust, even though I am a big fan of the series, Valve themselves and have been looking forward to this game for years. The thing I don't understand is why so many people feel that they are entitled to receive information about a company's game. If it was like we all pre-ordered Half-Life 3/Episode 3, then some kind of confirmation or knowledge about it would seem more fair, but right now these people have no right to demand Valve elaborate on anything. If they never want to make a third installment, I'd be pretty pissed, but I have no right to force them to make it, let alone keep me updated about it. I know it is hard, but I think this thread could use a lot more of discussing the content of half-life 3, not when Operation Deus Ex Machinima Crowbar Steam Group will finally cause Valve to snap and release episode three. I don't want to shit on the community efforts, because they really are a good display that lots of fans still want Gordon Freeman back, but these are not the ways you are going to see his return.

is there a valve thread? Valve Posts Job Listing For Linux Software Engineer http://www.omgubuntu.co.uk/2012/01/valve-2012/
In a turn of events not unlike we’ve seen before, Valve has posted a job listing for a Senior Software Engineer to work on their “highly available digital distribution platform” Steam. However, unlike past job postings which have mentioned Linux and left some ambiguity as to what exactly Valve might be working on in this area, this posting clearly says the word “games” in one of the responsibilities out of the six listed. “Port Windows-based games to the Linux platform.” Could this be a sign that a Steam client and games are on their way to Linux? Perhaps. Valve could be responding to increasing Linux market share, or to the arrival of competitor Desura which recently released a client for Linux. They might simply be hiring a developer to work on their Linux server software. Maybe it’s another wild goose chase as the Linux community awaits Steam support. Either way, interested developers can apply over at Valve, interested consumers can speculate below in the comments, just don’t get your hopes for official Portal 2 support any time soon.
http://www.valvesoftware.com/job-SenSoftEngineer.html

what's this and where does it come from?
did you make that using the texture cards from the game? if you did, you could have at least said that you made it or that you found it somewhere [editline]18th January 2012[/editline] i like the choice of sky color, it really makes me wonder why valve scrapped it from ep2 ep2 was originally going to start with darker/moody sky tones as seen in the chapter thumbnail
I made that

add gameinformer to the bottom right so that we can have a yet another fake bit of art
I just want them to say "yes, we are working on it"
Doug Lombardi said in an interview, that they aren't done with Freeman yet, it's kinda the same.
I still think that even if that group got literally every steam account to join it that Valve would still ignore it
Can't hurt to join to show you care.
Opération Crowbar 1.0, 2.0, now "this" call to communication... And if Valve say nothing, Will it stop or what Will be the next step?! Kidnap Gabe's wife and child? Shit on Valve's floor? Piss on their walls, drawing a lambda on the snow?
Offtop question: Do i need to make HL2 version of that city 17 panorama with not-destroyed citadel? And maybe after episode 2 panorma?
