The Forgotten Realm: Mists of Fauhuin! A brand new server!

Has something changed with the /f home command? Because when I did it, I got orange text saying "WOOSH" and am now suffocating in a black void.
If you log in with F3 enabled, take a screenshot, then quickly log out again, and post/PM me your coords, I'll come dig you out.
Problem already solved. Thanks for the offer though!
courier factions would be pretty cool
or a trader faction. too bad wagons and carts aren't a thing

There are mules, which would work.

"Trader factions" never work in practice. Everyone is more than capable of getting whatever they need on their own, and it's much cheaper to do so, as opposed to going through a bunch of trouble to trade with somebody else. Same with courier factions, if anyone ever needs to deliver a letter to someone else they'll go out and do it themselves, not spend a long time finding and paying someone else to do it. If we do end up getting rid of /me chat though, those NPC couriers posted a while back seem like the best option.

this isn't always true with nether resources
this isn't always true with nether resources
Only if the nether is restricted or if one faction has a large stockpile and the other faction is incapable of surviving the nether, yet has items deemed valuable by the other faction.

I believe that's the point of having 4 cardinal points biomes isn't it
It would probably need something like special skills mechanic first though
jesus stillstanden did you forget to add clay? there's like 4 blocks in the whole damn river
anybody interested in purchasing rare goods like enchanted books or horse armours or shit like that chuck me a message, got a few hidden that we need to get rid of
jesus stillstanden did you forget to add clay? there's like 4 blocks in the whole damn river

I've seen plenty of clay down south!!
three blocks is not plenty :suicide:
what is the weird biome down south with the fat birch and wood trees?
GG soul! I'll be back!
Actually, now that we have a confirmed kill on you Ulriik, we're good. Maybe we can work out the terms for a truce?

Ha, why would you want to end what we have going here? I like it, it's the only thing keeping the server interesting right now. I just wish that other people would join a side, instead of trying to stand back and end up getting rekt. (rip Hessemberg, you were a pretty scrubby (but chill) town. btw I think it was Jaffa that eff'd it up.)

Yeah, it was Jaffa, he's banned now.
ulriik for king of the free people
old hessemberg time travelled and replaced the new awful ruined hessemberg
hessemberg is whole again
Do I look as easy to fool as TheSilverSalt?
Umm...okay?
Well, Ulriik is banned for flying. Rest in peace Ulriik.
I fucking knew he was using Nodus, what a faggot.
how do you know he was hacking
how do you know he was hacking
He was with someone else (sockum1?) lurking outside of our base. Speshel told me to get on and we went to scout the grounds and we got into a skirmish in which sockum1 died. Ulriik then got beaten back into a pond where Speshel and I were piling him when suddenly he disappeared. At first we thought maybe he had /home'd or used an enderpearl (despite him not having any) and we climbed out of the pond and we saw him running away.
We chased after him and maintained fire on him with our bows so he couldn't combat log like he usually does (It was also night time so there were tons of mobs). Suddenly he disappeared again but his player model made a jerk motion in the direction that he had teleported to so we knew where to continue running. Speshel managed to re-engage combat with him and on the next time he teleported Tidgemo banned him. Tidge had been watching the whole fight and saw it all.
Because Minecraft servers never lag, do they?
that doesn't sound like a fly hack at all, that sounds more like lagging if anything
Because Minecraft servers never lag, do they?
He was flying when he got banned.
Talking to Speshel and Tidge, apparently at the end of the fight Ulriik decided to ascend to the heavens, a tune to a rocket ship taking off for Jupiter. And by that I mean he started floating away vertically.
Every time someone engaged with him he seemed to hit them from ridiculously far distances, gain on them very quickly, and it also explains how he escaped our trap without dying.
I don't know if he installed Nodus before or after we trapped him, but since his escape he's definitely been using it.
Were there any rules for the server listed anywhere? I couldn't find any... =/
