gotta love day 1 dlc
Fucking alpen head to head, I'm not having trouble beating the opponent just getting a 1:48 time. I can't tell what the fucking car will do next, one second it's really wide then it's way too close and I'm nudging barriers, really frustrating.

What's the point on even locking them in the first place if they are just gonna give them for free?
Tried Dirt 3....raged...downloading now CMR 2.0
What's the point on even locking them in the first place if they are just gonna give them for free?
Lock out pirates?
Wait.. on XBOX you have to PAY to unlock cars, just after you've bought the game? :sigh: .. DLC is getting worse than I thought.
What's the point on even locking them in the first place if they are just gonna give them for free?
Pirates. Downloading shit from the marketplace requires a valid CD key.
Pirates. Downloading shit from the marketplace requires a valid CD key.
Or an aftermarket patch.
Or an aftermarket patch.
Sure, you can patch in the DLC, but from what people have told me there is no way to patch out GFWL's CD key check.
It's an incentive to go online and maybe do Online play stuff.
I got me a Driving Force GT last week for about £75 from Argos, not sure if that offer is still on
the clamping mechanism on the dfgt sucks ass, for the short time i used the one i had it made even shift playable though so its quite a nice wheel for the price
I heard the driving force GT is pretty good, dunno how much they are though, if you can find a "cheap" G25/G27 they're totally worth the money aswell.
Got a G25 for 80 dollars. Had it a year and still works perfect, and I've never regretted buying it, this thing is fucking fantastic. One thing that annoys me though is the lack of auto centering in the menus. Also, does anyone else wish you could get rid of the Gymkhana assists so it's actually you driving instead of having the computer help you with the spins and donuts?
My internship boss (videogaming club if you wonder) filed a legit complaint with our national consumer organisation about the box not warning about the VIP code that makes it impossible to play online on multiple consoles without buying the code multiple times. They said the complaint was legit and noted and if more people would do that they would take legal action. (International) I don't know what happened in the meanwhile though. Did it become free now? At any rate, this isn't against piracy. It's against trading games second hand.
Where the hell do you get a g25 for 80$?
Joytech nitro force feedback wheel had a great price/quality They are not manufactured anymore, the company was bought away from the market by mad catz. But i got one used wheel for 15$ and the force feedback is great, works with Xbox, ps3, pc.
Ordering my Quad-core sometime today, can't wait to play DiRT 3 :h:
Got a pretty nice moment just now in Dirt 2. Took a turn the wrong way, did a barrel roll with my car, landed on the right part of my bumper and still managed to win the event. I'll see about getting a clip up later today.

whats the best line to drift those half buried pipes in the compound?
http://www.livestream.com/jefmajor Jefmajor is doing Dirt3 live right now.
whats the best line to drift those half buried pipes in the compound?
Sideways.
Preordered the game, it finally arrived today. Looked at the cars in Group B. WHERE THE HELL IS MY PEUGEOT 205 T16
Preordered the game, it finally arrived today. Looked at the cars in Group B. WHERE THE HELL IS MY PEUGEOT 205 T16
It's too busy cowering in the shadow of the Audi Quattro :smug:
Sideways.
obviously but from which direction i always fuck that up or it doesnt register and as its at the end of one of the events its really annoying
Goddamn. The free car pack tells me it's installed, but... I don't see the cars anywhere :raise:
How not to do Gymkhana: yeah I know about the interlacing I'll fix it later
shit, that is some unrealistic flips
kinda sucks how they dumbed down the damage compared to Dirt 1. you can plow into a wall at like 80mph and it does no mechanical damage at all and barely damages the car and you can't mod it anymore because the previously plain text damage definition files are now binary or something so you can't edit them or the game won't start
That's odd as my 80 mph+ crashes were doing 50G+ impacts (a screen saying you can't continue with the race comes up with this information) and wheels were coming off, as well as severe deformation. You sure you've turned on full damage modelling in the difficulty settings?
[img_thumb]http://dl.dropbox.com/u/12733613/Dirt3crash.png[/img_thumb]
