Any recommendations for software to edit my movies with? Windows Movie Maker helps to compress the file size but it also keeps changing the resolution of the movies when I tell it not to and it's pissing me off haha

Edit: actually it keeps the res the same but gives the movie a big black border which seems pointless...

VirtualDub w/Xvid codec if you're not looking to do anything fancy.

Well I installed the game and turned all of the settings to Ultra. The game crashed and I had to force close it, when I reopened it, for some reason it's only running in windowed mode now and this is all I see:

Now I can't go back in and change the settings back to high. We're off to a great start.

Try deleting this path "\Documents\My Games\DiRT3\hardwaresettings".

also try to hit ALT+ENTER to bring the window mode into full screen, hopefully it will show you something.

I rented DiRT 3 for my brothers xbox, sweet christ I played it for at least 7 hours straight.. :tinfoil:

So far I have first place and all platnums in season 1, but also sadly realized I'll have to restart on my PC if I don't beat the game by Sunday.

You can disable all that shit in the Driving Aids/Set up bit before you start.

I wish there was a way to do an unlimited time gymkhana practice or some shit.

ABS stays on even when you put it to the hardest setting, so you have to manually go change that off

For some reason DiRT 3 gets shut down by my DEP as soon as I plug in my 360 controller, I just get a "DiRT 3 has stopped working" error, and at the corner it says something about the Data Execution Prevention had to close it or someshit.
Everything else works fine, but as soon as my controller turns on and connects to the adapter, it shuts down.

Any help here?

lower gear ratios, lower ride, soften suspension, decrease downforce, stiffen the differential

2/3rd gear, handbrake, control acceleration and countersteer

although I guess if you're on a keyboard the final 2 would be near impossible
