Pretty much this. They run incredibly well. My pc is quite the beast but still. It runs at like 80+ fps on the maximum graphics. (Dirt 2, haven't tried Dirt 3 yet but I doubt there will be worse)
The only other game engine that I would consider very optimized is the Chrome 4 engine that powers Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood. Looks and runs very good and that at around 100 fps solid.
My Dirt3 still doesn't work :saddowns:
Been contacting codemasters since the day after release, and they just come with shit solutions like "delete the settings file hurr durr"
When I try to play, after about 10-15 minutes my computer stops taking input from the keyboard, and I have to restart it

Are you using a fancy Logitech Keyboard? If you are using a Logitech G110 (I think that was it) it keeps on doing it as long as you got it plugged in. The game does not like that keyboard.
Switched to a 360 controler and now I'm not as fucked.
But still, it's odd how I get 8th when I finish a race. All the triangles on the left are under me. I don't play much rally games so I don't know what the bars mean except speed and laps.

Rally isn't based on the position you're in, it's based on the time you get. So if those triangles are still behind you, but they're closer than they were at the start, your lap time was lower than theirs.
