So is this worth $50 dollars? Eventually I'll get a Driving Force GT from Logitech (unless there is a better/cheaper wheel out there) For now I just use some GameStop xbox controller. Is it a nice PC port? I can get this for PS3 or PC (xbox too but I absolutely HATE the xbox). I think I can run it around medium with my specs. My PC is getting old.

You could buy it from g2play for ~35$, but then you won't be able to activate it on steam. DRM is the same i suppose, except for steam.
Haven't played many racing games aside from Burnout. Is this a good game for even a beginner?
I actually have the first Dirt on a shelf somewhere. My dad got it for like 5 bucks at gamestop. I'll try that first.

It's not hard in the sense that you have to outsprint other cars and that kind of stuff too much. It's rallying, aka you have a lot of room to maneuver without always seeing cars fly past you or crash in to you so long as you're driving at a steady pace.
You co-driver tells you what gear to drive in, what speed to top out at, et cetera so as long as you obey you can normally do pretty well and sometimes you can even go faster and do some neat tricks along the way to help improve your time lapse.
The races a quick and short; a lot of them you can beat in under two minutes.
It's not very hard to play at all and, IMHO, Rally games are the easiest and most interesting games to play. Regular sprint racing is so lame in comparison.

Disagree. Richard Burns Rally on full realism is the hardest fucking racing game I've ever played.
