Metro Series Megathread - We Have Developers, Does S.T.A.L.K.E.R.? - Games

Hardly a spoiler, but... No, I think climbing the tower was.

I just downloaded metro 2033 from a torrent site, I played through part of the game, didn't spoil much, and I decided to buy it. Its my b-day today, so I will probably get it today. I just downloaded it to see if it would run on my pc(did pretty good), and if the game was any good [highlight](User was banned for this post ("We don't need to know that you did this." - verynicelady))[/highlight]

Did anyone else find this game kinda boring to play?

I just bought the book. So far, it seems really good.

And I'm not sure if shouldn't be "Черный везде". The whole thing with the translations is very messed up, because "Страх грядущего" means "The fear from the future" as the fear itself and not to actually be afraid from the future. Ugh, don't mind me.

Your screen gets terribly fuzzy and you fall to the ground and what not.

It's safer not to condone warez or allow its discussion on the forums than not to, regardless of what the mods themselves may actually think.

Aughh Trolley Combat is really pissing me off. I'm at the part just past when you first see the tank. There's a little camp to the left of me and two jackass machine gunners. My fucking car always self destructs before i get to the end of it no matter what I do. My fucking gun is too slow to kill the machine gunners, which might be the problem. What do I do?

i was looking forward to getting the DLC for this game but to come to find out that it's just stuff that could have been included in the game.

Yeah the DLC sounds worthless, we still have played through the game 1 (or more?) times, and all it adds is just a few new weps and a harder difficulty? I thought we would get a continuation, but it seems not.

I guess it might be hard to lay down a continuation for the two possible endings. On another note - does anyone know a way in which I can get the soundtrack to this game? It's absolutely beautiful (Especially the "Enlightened" ending music)

Im reading the book right now and so far i like it alot more than the game, it explains and goes into alot more detail than the games story. The game is still good though cause you know..you cant pew pew monsters in a book :P
