Is the NYC combat theme in the OST?
Preordered Augmented Edition, where can I find the Making Of, the artbook and the OST?
Preordered Augmented Edition, where can I find the Making Of, the artbook and the OST?
You get it when the game is released, duh. (They'll probably be in the game's folder in /steamapps/common)
Is the NYC combat theme in the OST?
It was with my retail Deus Ex GOTY. Don't ask.
I really liked UNATCO Revisited theme.
you mean the song that plays after you escape from the MJ12 facility and enter UNATCO HQ? if so, i really liked that song too. it fit perfectly with the discovery of the truth about Majestic 12 and UNATCO and how everything has changed.
So I beat Deus Ex today. After closing the game, I asked myself "How is it even possible for this game to have a sequel?" So I installed Invisible War. Quit it before I got out of the apartment.
I made this same mistake, trying to play IW right after I finished the original. It's a deadly mistake.
I made this same mistake, trying to play IW right after I finished the original. It's a deadly mistake.
Thank goodness my computer outright refused to run IW.
I assume he refers to enemy within, in which case I agree wholeheartedly.
Is that what its called? Sorry, I'm not familiar with the sountrack titles. But I know enough to shout "Thats when you fight whatshisname!" when I hear it :v

[editline]19th August 2011[/editline] The one where you get out of the MJ12 base into UNATCO.
Here's one of the posts, can imagine where he might be stretching the truth. He says spoilers but there aren't really any, spoiler texted out the ones I think might be for some people. "Biggest damn disappointment in a long time. *SPOILERS* [sp]Only two city hubs, and they get recycled. Don't believe the hype of lots of cities (for example, Montreal is just one level in a building, no exploration). Most levels are generic, linear sci-fi corridors. Yes, you can sneak around the enemies, find alternate routes and such, but it's still a linear experience with basically just a choice of either stealth or shooting. Don't expect open levels with tons of different approaches or chances to experiment. City hubs are fun, but like said, there are only two of them. Predictable plot that is pretty much just Metal Gear Solid 2 and a bit of 4 thrown in. Better told, though. Laughably stupid ending(s). Not the writing - it's fine if nothing special - but the way they're presented. In the end, you are given with four buttons with each triggering a different ending. Your actions in the game have zero influence and neither will you see any proper resolution, just vague voice over and some stock footage. Reload your last save to see them all in five minutes. Easiest Achievement ever. Crappy boss fights. Confined arenas with no other options than to shoot them in the face. No options for bypassing them, or use hacking or stealth or anything. Now, don't get me wrong. It's not a *horrible* game. It just ended up being rather mediocre with some flashes of brilliance and fun (the augmentations are good, as are the two city hubs) in the midst of tons of missed opportunities.[/sp]"
I only read the first sentence before I realized "Why the fuck am I reading this?", but I do have to leave this here. [sp]Deus Ex really only had two true hubs, Hell's Kitchen and Hong Kong if by hub you mean open area that you explore and leave by a means other than transitioning to another level in a linear fashion without a cut scene. HK was visited 3 times throughout the game, and everything else was fairly linear compared to those two.[/sp]
Avoiding this thread until I've beaten the game. I never asked for spoilers.
If you're talking about the leak, it didn't even have DirectX11.
No I'm talking about all the promo shots, both from the devs themselves and from reviewers, the character models honestly remind me of how models look when fullbright is enabled, not sure why but it does have that no lighting look to it, obviously it has lighting though.

I even looked at my keyboard while typing this reply so I wouldn't see the text in the reply box.
This is the first time I'm overcoming my spoiler tag Want-To-Read urge.

So for some reason I'm trying not to hyper-ventilate while pre-loading this game. Talk about over-hyping this.
