Maybe I'm just dreaming about it, but I remember reading on the DX forums that the company who was doing the PC port added a fov changing option.
I'm not seeing it. So either that's coming later or they lied.
EDIT: So I really gave this the lowest score so far? Heh...

Can someone post about this on the DX forums? I'm too lazy to make an account.

You said the dialogue tree was like in Mass Effect, does that mean that it has that terrible system that for some reason is really popular right now where you can only choose based of the general idea of what you are going to say?
is swimming confirmed????
Struggling to decide whether I want to get this for my PC or PS3.
Apart from the graphics, is there any other differences between two?
Im sure it still looks great on consoles, but its always good to sit back on a couch, controller in hand and playing it on a HD widescreen.

No. It's more like choosing between, "Cold, Resentful, Reassuring" and it gives you exactly what he is going to say.

Good, i always hate it when games dont give you a good enough of an idea of what you are going to say, was one of the worst things about L.A. Noire, and could have completely ruined this game as well.
This is exactly how I felt. It seems a bit crude to just go out and kill or knock someone out all of a sudden. I was hoping for some kind of special dialogue with [sp]Everett but no, the game just wants you to kill/knock out the guy and then you get the dialogue with Jock.[/sp]
Wasn't it obvious he should be knocked out/killed by how blatantly shifty and defensive he was when spoken to, and the fact there was another dead mechanic lying in front of you as you enter the helipad?
What timezone?
Sure, and you risk getting your Steam account banned for violating the SSA.
It's not against the SSA to use a VPN, so why would it be to use a proxy?

It is against the SSA to use a VPN.
1. Holy shitballs that game is getting stellar reviews, and no wonder.
2. I am a terrible person. And so are the creators of Youtube. It's a losing battle.
3. PS3 or Xbox. I kinda want it on my new PS3, to collect the trophies, but I'm on a mildly craptastic 28' widescreen tv, the old kind of widescreen, so the better (?) graphics on the PS3 might go to waste. On the second hand I got my Xbox that's hooked up to my pc screen.
When I first played DX1 I ignored the dead mechanic because I just assumed the Illuminati had very poor workplace safety standards. I also ignored that the mechanic was American, because thanks to the fact that all the local mechanics were in a union that wanted unrealistically high wages that the Illuminati had to hire Americans.

Get it on PS3, I hear the Xbox version is a bad port of the PS3 version. Or get it on PC for the aforementioned reasons.
[editline]22nd August 2011[/editline]
To second that, the Xbox version has controls worse than Killzone 2's default controls.

Where on earth did you hear that?
I can tell you that no version is a port - Eidos Montreal have stated this as a fact.
I've played with the 360 controls and they are perfectly fine.
99% preloaded

Several pages back in this thread.
By the way, the PC version has 99 save slots.
Certainly an improvement over the 20 slots in the press demo.
Why would they limit slots anyway (Even if it is 99 slots, more than you will ever need) when it could be unlimited?
I mean there are console games with more save slots than that (Read: unlimited).

Launch FUCKING trailer: http://www.gameinformer.com/games/deus_ex_human__revolution/b/xbox360/archive/2011/08/22/one-last-prelaunch-look-at-adam-jensen-39-s-plight.aspx
Mind you, it's quite low quality so wait for it to hit YouTube in HD if you care about that kind of thing.
There's various issues regarding the amount of save games and corruption/performance. While it may not seem like it, in games such as Oblivion save games are more likely to corrupt depending on how you save them and how many you have.
I asked for this...
quick! get the jensen picture!
