Performance review by HardOCP. http://www.hardocp.com/article/2011/08/22/deus_ex_human_revolution_performance_preview/1 My fears have come true. It seems max settings isn't too difficult. Because it's not really that visually impressive. It looks like Splinter Cell Conviction-ish. Barely any shadow information and really bland textures. I'm still preordering because I love deus-ex, I'm not hatin on your game. Edit: I'm saying it looks bland for a game in late 2011. I expected something pretty revolutionary, I suppose.
Holy shit, this is the track that played back in the leaked E3 2010 demo footage. [editline]22nd August 2011[/editline] By the way, the PC version has some command lines that people can use. Source: http://forums.eidosgames.com/showpost.php?p=1654142&postcount=24

Guys I'm back, had an intense 3 weeks of studying. What did I miss? what about the group photo?
My name... Is Michael McCann. And I once saw... A child... Playing with a ruby... The size... Of a Tangerine.
In games like this I always try to play with Stealth but always end up playing Adaptive

Cancelled Amazon order and got the AE on Steam. Fuck year. 9 hours.
what about the group photo?
Absolutely nothing iirc. Ask Spekter if you're interested though. [editline]23rd August 2011[/editline] Glad to have you back though.
My copy just shipped. Been waiting a long time for this.
Is there any "free roaming" in a way? I know the missions are open ended but how big?
Shipped
OK, maybe I'm overusing it but text cannot describe my reactions. [editline]22nd August 2011[/editline] According to the UPS tracker my package is in Whitestown Indian at the moment. How long in hours do you think it would take for a package to get from there to the Chicago suburbs? [editline]22nd August 2011[/editline] According to Google maps it is 4 hours, but that is assuming that it doesn't temporarily stop a point on the route. I am assuming that it WON'T arrive at around 7PM today (I may be wrong), unless the person(s) driving will be going in a single run, which I highly doubt.
After buying the HP Touchpad tablet I don't have money to buy this game, agh
I was playing final fantasy 4 and thought of this.
Augments The Augment system is the new way of sharing abilities in this version of Final Fantasy IV. These augments are unlocked by advancing the plot of the story, or by partaking in optional sub-plots. These are sometimes well-hidden after unlocking and must be searched for. All of the details to unlocking and finding these augments is covered in the Augment Abilities section of the guide and in the walkthrough.....You'll also be given your first Augment Ability here, Auto-Potion.
Forgive me, my potion is augmented
How do they see?
I'M A PAGE LATE BUT THIS MOMENT IS TOO PERFECT
Is there any "free roaming" in a way? I know the missions are open ended but how big?
There are missions in which you're put in a more contained area like a building an have to work your way to an objective, and then there are hub sections, where you end up in a particular city. Usually there's an objective there, but there's a lot more freedom and many npc's give sidequests and you can find stashes of equipment if you know where to look.
Getting my Augmented Edition tomorrow after school at Gamestop. It will be the most amazing Tuesday of my life.
Think the augmented edition on steam is worth it? Edit: or should I get it at a store?
Getting my Augmented Edition tomorrow after school at Gamestop. It will be the most amazing Tuesday of my life.
Waking up and playing it first thing because I have no school :smug:
After buying the HP Touchpad tablet I don't have money to buy this game, agh
In reply to that... Well once my bank credits my money back, I guess I'm buying this.
I should probably leave the thread but even now, I still cannot find that bastard combat song from the old Hengsha warehouse demo.
Fine.... I bought the augmented edition.
