Couldn't you just turn off the VPN and just start playing?

Great. I'd say I have a 50% chance of crashing whenever I run into a loading screen. It's unplayable for me; hell, the leak was probably stabler than this.

I was stuck inside the police station for about 3 hours, cause I ran out of non-lethal weapons and I didn't want to kill any cops. I managed to complete my objective though.

Is there a way to decrypt the game outside the US without having to have Steam in offline mode? Ideally I'd like to get the achievements along the way. If not I'll just wait until Friday.
