I'm scared to use a vpn because I have a fuckload of games and i'll lose a lot of money if my account gets suspended but I REALLY want to play this
So are there any trainers out yet?
Nope. Just the ones for the beta build. You probably won't see any sometime after the 27th.
Is it just me, I have choppiness in aim control even I get good FPS?
This is unbearable, anyone got idea what can cause this?
Argh, my number one annoyance with this game is the load times. It takes ages to load, even loading quicksaves. This is especially annoying since it makes stealth much more tedious... spotted? Prepare for a 30 second load to go back 3 seconds. Plus, it's no fun fucking about in hubs if every time you do so you need to sit through a long-ass load screen to go back.
I feel like it's justified Just by going outside you have to load a pretty large, detailed area I just use the Steam in game browser to surf FP while I wait
For anybody who has finished the game, how are the sidequests? Are there many? From the Steam Achievement lists it doesn't seem like there are that many, but I'm only presuming that those achievements are for sidequests. If there are only a few, are they long?
You can augment your energy to get more batteries, unfortunately you can only use the extra ones once and then they remain depleted until you recharge with rare cyberboost bars.
Your other batteries recharge too, but once a battery is depleted you need to replensih them with booster bars and such. Get cloak fully upgraded and get the recharge rate upgraded for batteries and you'll be a cloak beast. You can't use cloak in this game though like you do in TF2, because it still runs out quick (unless you don't care about wasting all your batteries). You still have to use cover, but cloak lets you dive between cover without having to wait on patrols. Go into cloak, dive, and quickly uncloak once you are in cover again. By the time you need to make another jump to another spot to conceal yourself you battery should recharge itself. It is also handy as a tool to get past a part that has a lot of eyes on it, and would be really hard to get past without being detected unless you got creative. Just plop cloak down, run twoards the door, and as soon as you are safe, turn cloak off. This usually should only drop you down by 1-2 batteries so its no big deal. It also helps to bind cloak to a button the mouse so you can quickly get in and get out without having to "reach"
I went from a shitty stock build to a full blown gaming pc, its made me start to tell the difference really easily. Also the fps drops were going from 50 fps at times all the way to 30 fps, in under a second, so it became really noticeable at times.
Ah, yeah, an unstable framerate always looks bad, IW ran worse on the PC I had when it came out though, I don't mind low frame rates and crap graphics too much.
gamestop, not gamespot
Oh thanks, I fixed it.
Yesterday I was like "Jesus dick! This many posts in one night Im not going through those." the I remembered what happened that night.
For those who have finished it, [sp]Is there anything interesting after the credits? I skipped them[/sp]
AVOIDING ALL SPOILERS, CANT LOOK AT ANYTHING! Question, is this unlocked at midnight for EU? It says it unlocks on the 25th so.... Yes? Also, for those looking for the extra content, go to Tools on Steam and install it. OH GOD! HUGE SPOILER ABOVE ME! I am actually fighting the urge to see it...
Nah my spoiler is not a spoiler at all, I was just asking if there's anything after the credits since I skipped them. I just figured someone might bitch if I even mentioned the credits.
There's a way to get into the armory. How?
There's a way to get into the armory. How?
I stealthed it in the leak and then put the guy to sleep. Or do you mean the armory containing all the ammo? That I didn't find way in either.

I never bought the game so I probably have that trademark quote out of context to what he probably meant
Just bought this game retail. Was the first time I've bought a game from Gamestop in quite a while. Got the last copy of the Augmented Edition as well :buddy:
I think its the same as the Liberty Island armory code from DX1
Nah my spoiler is not a spoiler at all, I was just asking if there's anything after the credits since I skipped them. How the hell do I do double takedowns? It hasn't worked in any of the areas that are obviously designed for it.
Oh ok, sounds easy.
Don't be fooled. I was using that trainer thingy to have all augs at start. Still, its easier if they let you in instead of having to stealth all the way there ofc. Just cloak when youre about to go in the armory.
Can anyone help me? I'm [sp]at Tai Young Medical, I just got out of the penthouse and now I'm in the Hangar. I see the terminal where I can disable the security bots, but I don't have a high enough hack skill to hack it. I can't find a pocket secretary or anything anywhere.[/sp]
How the hell do I do double takedowns? It hasn't worked in any of the areas that are obviously designed for it.
Seperate ones or 2 at the same time? The 2 at the same time should be when you meet 2 foes next to each other. 2 with each at a time I think you need to be in some sort of position facing them or something, like in a straight line facing them. Ofc, you will need the augs for that aswell.

Been playing it for about 8 or so hours offline because I'm in the UK and I made all the wrong decisions and fucked up numerous times, also the long ass loading times became frustrating. So with that in mind I've decided to completely redo my playthrough and start from scratch now that I know what to do, I also intend on doing the hardest difficulty because I rarely ever got into combat so I might aswell try and go for that achievement aswell but the boss fights are going to be a major pain. Ideally they'll bring out another patch to reduce loading times, I just don't understand why they're so long, was the game not optimized?
The Loading times are nearly as bad as Dragon Age: Origins in the Leak, can this be fixed with a patch o r not?
Me on first mission: Related because of Eyepatch Zeke obviously
HNNNG why does it take so long to just respawn in a small room.. damn these load times.
I didn't mind the load times for some reason.
which do people think is the most useful of the body aug's? reflex booster sounds like it would come in handy
