I love the boss battles in this game. As much as the make me scream at the top of my lungs, they just feel awesome. The whole fact that a past decision could screw you over or make the boss fight easier is just amazing. Could just be me, but I like that Trial and Error play a big part in the fights. Shooting your way through would just be boring and give no sense of accomplishment.

Apparently, this guy went from 32 seconds of loading time to 8 seconds. Great news for current players and future players alike.
Is there a way to disable those giant security bots without using a computer, rockets, or EMP nade? If you can't then I'm screwed :( ([sp]TYM last level, if you were wondering[/sp])
Midnight is gonna take a while...
New patch out This latest patch addresses: A frequent issue for AMD/ATI hardware users that can cause the game to crash on startup. Improvements to loading speed. The speed increase depends on machine spec and settings, but loading time improvements of over 50% have been measured on some machines. Some control fixes: Diagonal movement is no longer faster as intended. Adjustments have been made to mouse sensitivity in response to user feedback. Mouse sensitivity for X and Y axis can still be configured separately, but is now consistent when set to default settings. The range of settings for mouse sensitivity has been adjusted to provide for more accurate adjusting. The default mouse sensitivity has been altered to be somewhat less sensitive.
Yes! Loading times were my only real complaint with the game. Especially in China, where almost every mission made you travel between the two suburbs.
Managed to kill the first boss on the hardest difficulty, how hard are the others? Equally difficult?
Just pre-ordered this game, if I love Metal Gear Solid 4 will I love this game
Is anyone else disappointed in the ending? [sp]I thought it would have explained what happened after my choice, but it didn't, all I got was Jensen talking about stuff, I remember reading we would hear about how UNATCO was formed at the end of the game, I guess it's only if you blow up the base[/sp]
[sp]No the blow up the base ending doesn't really change anything. There is a bonus cutscene after the credits but it's mostly just a fan service[/sp]
No, the other bosses are easy, especially the last one.
Really? Wow, thanks. In that case hopefully I'll be able to finish the game.
Just 50 min+- left 'till i can play some goddamn DXHR!
Oh they fixed the strafing bug. I ended up catching on and I found myself strafing EVERYWHERE to get to my destination faster.
Hmm..how big is the patch? I'm now wondering how long it will take to install as I have retail...then to unlock it/patch it.
Hmm..how big is the patch? I'm now wondering how long it will take to install as I have retail...then to unlock it/patch it.
12.8mb you'll be fine
For this achievement: Complete Deus Ex: Human Revolution without setting off any alarms. Does this mean do not be spotted at all, or just no physical alarms?
Also, the wiki isn't much help. I want to find a place that lists side quests. I don't want to spoil it for myself, but I hate leaving an area and thinking I've missed stuff.
All of the sidequests have an achievement for completing them, just check the achievement list.
For this achievement: Complete Deus Ex: Human Revolution without setting off any alarms. Does this mean do not be spotted at all, or just no physical alarms?
The latter because even in the storyline missions the enemies are already "alarmed"
still trying to get it to download thx steam for european release despite not even giving u.s. customers a chance to even dl it
You are obviously the only one having an issue in the thread so ever think its something on your end?
Will the game be unlocked at 12 o'clock GMT precisely? It's nearly preloaded and...I want to play it so badly. The leak can only hold me over so long.
You are obviously the only one having an issue in the thread so ever think its something on your end?
i tried on numerous computers (even at work) to see if i could get it to download so i could just load up the content files/folders and stick them in on my main computer but even then i get the same error on every rig which is really weird so i'm just going to assume it's ghosted itself in to my account without actually being there
God damn the soundtrack is so amazing, I wish I had bought the Augmented Edition instead

[sp]Forgot the name of her, but how do you beat the 2nd boss exactly? I know you shoot those electricity panels but it brings me to low health or kills me.[/sp]
