Yeah, and it did its job. Preventing enemies from harming me. :v:
[IMG_thumb]http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b342/Tolkoto/deusexcomic.jpg[/IMG_thumb]
I think takedowns requiring energy is just a bit silly, and really discourages playing creatively with other augs. And furthermore, I don't really feel obligated to upgrade my energy capacity since only one 'charge' recharges anyways. I know why they did it, of course -- to stop players from charging into groups of enemies and then knocking them all out with a few takedowns. But it seems like just sticking a cooldown timer on takedowns would have been more graceful. [editline]25th August 2011[/editline] Oh and of course the amount of time he can sprint is indeed pitiful. I can sprint much longer than that and I'm certainly not augmented. :v:
I can tell I'm gonna need to upgrade my strength so I can move heavy objects with my next Piraxis point.
I hope so. The soundtrack they included with Augmented is pretty barebones. I want that UNATCO theme remix.
I was so heavily underwhelmed by it. 12 tracks is pathetic I bet this game has at least 50.

anyone got strategies on beating [sp]Namir[/sp] yet?
Yes, the included the Brothel dance music on the soundtrack. :haw:
anyone got strategies on beating [sp]Namir[/sp] yet?
Learn around wall, shoot him, stop leaning, move to another wall. Repeat 50x.
anyone got strategies on beating [sp]Namir[/sp] yet?
I just stayed in the middle. The AI seems to get confused in the middle for some reason. Well at least for me it did.
I just stayed in the middle. The AI seems to get confused in the middle for some reason. Well at least for me it did.
Like standing still or just moving around the middle and taking potshots at him?
Just finished, got my pacifist achievement Aw yah
I think the extra batteries should recharge, but after a longer wait than the first one recharges.
I love this song. Deus Ex has an amazing soundtrack, all the songs are great, but this one is by far my favorite. Seeing the shades on Jensen's apartment open and let the sunset sunlight in and this song playing was probably one of my favorite gaming moments so far.
Beat the game, amazing experience.
They fixed the Ragdolls since the leak, they no longer suddenly stop if they hit something. Lovin this game.
Will say though fuck the endings, all of them [sp]I'm so sick of cop out rant endings, I'd like to see me leaving and what happens next, not hear Adam preach to the world. Holy shit stop doing this you jerkass devs[/sp]
Game's better than I expected to be honest
What console should i get the game for? xbox or ps3? i am normally a PC gamer but i do not want to run the risk of getting the game and finding out i cannot run it. I do not care what system requirements labs say, they have been wrong for me many times in the past
Beat the game, amazing experience.
Agreed, I haven't had such an awesome time playing a game since... I don't even remember. Which ending did you choose?
After you [sp]kill that one woman in the AI core[/sp], I spent half an hour getting to the very fucking slow elevator, going up it, and realizing that the real place I was supposed to go was on the other side of the [sp]AI core[/sp] Fucking Deus ex, I had to kill like 5 mega robots and 2 heavy weapon dudes just to find out I went the wrong way.
So I bought the augmented edition and didn't get anything it said like the making-of, art stuff, soundtrack.... just TF2 shit I bought the augmented edition from steam.
So I bought the augmented edition and didn't get anything it said like the making-of, art stuff, soundtrack.... just TF2 shit I bought the augmented edition from steam.
Tools tab.
Tools tab.
Thanks, such a weird place, you'd atleast think it'd be in the media tab seeing as it's all media...
Wow I apparently have a ton of .4 achievements, matter of time and all but still, I feel proud
Like standing still or just moving around the middle and taking potshots at him?
Moving around the middle and taking potshots at him.

Cant get past the third boss when your augs are down. I died 14 times now and I am sick of it.
I think the extra batteries should recharge, but after a longer wait than the first one recharges.
Or make it so the end of the battery recharge tree makes it so up to two batteries should recharge. And it's a little silly how a giant icarus landing system uses 0 energy to do, but punching a guy takes up a whole energy bar that never regens. They really should of made takedowns at least only take 80% of an energy bar, so if you only do one you aren't forever out of energy until you refill it with rare energy bars. Or Reflex booster making it so a takedown only takes 50% of energy as another option instead of it only being a dual take down.
Just finished, got my pacifist achievement Aw yah
I still don't know if I've killed anyone. A few fell off ledges, or into water, or into electrified puddles after I took them down. I don't know if that makes you lose the achievement.
