All i know is so much content was removed and im so bummed out, also after playing that game, im going to play the first two, then re-play HR, i missed out. Its like playing MGS4 before MG. Also the scene where Taggert throws Adam onto boxes yelling "you'll never find her" was removed. Its disappointing.
Is there even a map in the first Deus Ex? I get myself lost a lot in that game.
I thought the Icarus thing was more of an advertising thing. [sp]Also I believe it's the dreams Adam is still having that I remember mentioned possibly in the comic[/sp]
[sp]It's also part of the metaphor for how Adam is the "son" of Darrow and his innovations, when Darrow is talking about how he is like Daedalus [/sp]
I wish the cutscenes were of the same quality of the trailer that Square-Enix did.
This happen to anyone else?? Pisses me off since I really need to turn in the quest.
Hey guys, sorry if this has already been asked, but I've just got the game and there's this horrible mouse smoothing or something going on that makes the mouse movement really floaty. I can't find anyway to enable direct input in game or in any of the games folders. Can anyone help me out?
I'm addicted to this game, I fear I'm becoming what my girlfriend was like when she played Oblivion. She got so hooked that she ended up sleeping walking one night and walked into her parents's bedroom, shook her mom awake and asked, "Can I join the dark brotherhood?" Only for me, I'd end up sleep walking into my roommate's room and ask him if I can get augmentations. :v:
In regards to the endings, [sp]How are there four endings? There's only two buttons so what other factor determines the end?[/sp]
In regards to the endings, [sp]How are there four endings? There's only two buttons so what other factor determines the end?[/sp]
[sp]There's a third one to blow up the base if you turn left and go down the corridor, but that's still only 3[/sp]
[sp]There's a third one to blow up the base if you turn left and go down the corridor, but that's still only 3[/sp]
[sp]I had 4? I think if you skip the two side objectives (finding Taggart and Sarif) you only get 2 ending choices (broadcast Darrow's truth or blow up the base.)[/sp] Also did anyone notice the Eidos Building in one of the cinetmatics? Does General O'Neill show up anywhere else in the game?
But [sp]can you melee him? That's all I want to know. If it's possible in any way, shape, or form I'll be satisfied.[/sp]
[sp]He fucking bitchslaps you, I didn't try when he was stuned though. The fist time you try to melee him is badass though, you get knocked down and as you get up he points his spining minigun arm at your face, massive OH FUCK moment there.[sp]
Does General O'Neill show up anywhere else in the game?
Indeed, General O'Neill.
[sp]I talked to Sarif and Taggart but I only had the Taggart, Darrow, and self-destruct ones[/sp]
[sp]It's probably due to how you handled Darrow and previous actions, I had to pick between Taggart, Darrow, Serif, and the self destruct.[/sp]
[sp]I had all four choices to choose from, since I persuaded Darrow to help me out. I also went and talked to Taggart and Serif to get their options.[/sp] Although I think that [sp]sinking the place[/sp] is the canon ending.
[sp]It's probably due to how you handled Darrow and previous actions, I had to pick between Taggart, Darrow, Serif, and the self destruct.[/sp]
I just realized I loaded a wrong save [sp](one before I talked to Sarif) so I technically didn't talk to him. Goddammit.[/sp]

Anyway i dont think it is because of the video at the end of the credits.
Canon means writers choice or what they made right? Fuck this fucking game. I'm near the end of the story and the game crashed and corrupts every fucking save game I have.....
well, [sp]Bob said something about finding stuff in the "wreckage", so I assume that means what was left of the destroyed Panchaea facility.[/sp]
[sp] Well i hope David and Adam are still alive, well Adam will be alive since there is gonna be DLC and HOPEFULLY deus ex 4. [/sp]
I've been playing the game all day, and I feel like I've rushed it a heap, I'm nearing the end I THINK and its only been 10 hours, I've just wanted to see what happened to the characters so much that I ignored a lot of the finer details, next play through will be a lot slower and attentive I think.

I think I should pay more attention to the emails, since someone on /v/ pointed out that [sp]Megan was fucking Namir.[/sp]
In Tai Yong right now. Goddamn this part is so bad-ass [sp]Makes me feel like a god damn bad ass spy leaping between lasers, sneaking into the security room and then doing a double takedown on the guards in there, before shutting off their security system and walking into the server room like it is nobody's buisness.[/sp]
This is what happens when you say you have no information on you, and knocking you out would provide no results. [IMG_THUMB]http://cloud.steampowered.com/ugc/540651622691818094/F370CD66D6622CB90F12B014EE2B7B329758D525/[/IMG_THUMB] [SP]Turns out he was telling the truth[/SP]
