It really must suck when you pour hours into something, game or not, only to have to start over.
Truly, I feel for you. Perhaps you should post about this in the official forums to alert the developers that save corruption is happening?

Much easier to sweet talk Haas into giving you access where you can roam freely.
If anyone would like an interesting tip to help them later on, watch the introduction video when you first start the game and take note of something that one of the on-screen heads that mentions "primed".
Just got into the medical facility in China, still haven't killed anyone or triggered any alarms. But I'm so tempted to start killing people, knock them out and shoot them in the head or something.
Fucking finally got my pre-order pack. Had to email Amazon twice to elicit a response... of course, I bet you need to start a new game to take advantage of the pack, so it's probably not much of a help now, but whatever. :v:

The game is lagging for me, despite lowering all settings. I'm trying to find a settings.ini but can't find the folder. C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\deus ex - human revolution doesn't have what I'm looking for.
Does anyone know where the settings and save-files are stored?
Also, any commands? My mouse is still strange, despite disabling vsync and triple buffering.

Yes. Quad core q9450 2.66ghz 12mb, ati 4870 512mb and 4gb ram. I can run it, just not with constant 60 fps. That along with the terrible mouse-aim makes this very tiring to play, which is a shame since I love everything else about the game.

how do you get most xp from a stealth approach? neutralize everyone or do you get like mission end bonus for not touching anyone / not raising any alarms

- infinite praxis
and that's about it for the cheats
Lots of people with save corruption problems, I'm glad I've been taking a new slot every save.

Put boxes down and jump along, in the middle of the tunnel there's a dry spot with a breaker switch.
Also, stuck in Picus at the moment. Hurr durr 404.
Jeez, it won't work. It just freezes. Alt+tab, windows key, ctrl+alt+delete, everything is useless.
