Oops i read it as something else :P my bad Any excuse to watch that again, though.
Thats a terrible ending because basically you are just cockblocking Page and taking his idea as your own.
He deserves it, that guy is a dick.
Yeah you kind of contradicted yourself there, GunsNRoses2. Not sure if this has been posted yet, but you can get it at Greenmangaming for $28 with this code: FACEB-JULY2-20PEC And it's the Steam version
Whoa, why is this? And how long will this be on?
[sp]Helios ending is best ending because it is canon.[/sp] and because I said so :smug: [editline]16th July 2011[/editline] besides [sp]You're basically running the world under a benevolent dictatorship which is the best form of government but can only be done by an omniscient AI because humans are selfish bastards and will always be corrupt etc. etc.[/sp]
tong ending best ending
I have a feeling Human Revolution is going to be impossible to speedrun.
I have a feeling Human Revolution is going to be impossible to speedrun.
How so?
Have you played it? You can't just run and expect the enemies to miss you. Practically 5 shots with a pistol and you're dead.
Have you played it? You can't just run and expect the enemies to miss you. Practically 5 shots with a pistol and you're dead.
I'm sure a speedrun could be possible if you remember vital passcodes and the alternative paths which let you avoid combat. But there are also the forced bossfights, which may affect the total time of the speedrun.
[sp]humans are selfish bastards and will always be corrupt etc. etc.[/sp]
JC Denton IS a human therefore I don't think it's the best solution. No single human being can withstand this much of a power without becoming corrupt.
JC Denton IS a human therefore I don't think it's the best solution. No single human being can withstand this much of a power without becoming corrupt.
That's why Daedalus and Icarus are there. I think that JC is meant to provide the creativity and understanding of humans that an AI could not know.

Icarus and Daedalus merged and cancelled their moralities out, while gaining all the information the other had collected from the internet. That's why helios says "We have become our own shadows".
Everret is a genius for me, he created both Morpheus and Daedalus.
I felt kind of a puppet working for him, he's like "do this, do that so I can gain power" and giving so much of it to Illuminati, a bunch of people is just wrong. [editline]17th July 2011[/editline] For me at least.
3:15
You've just made me pick up my guitar for the first time in 2 months.
Just preordered the augmented edition for this.
He knows the game, Tong doesn't make you less of a puppet and merging with Helios neither. Though I prefer Tong's ending after reconsidering the quotes at the end of each one. They pose a hint for me what is considered the least evil.
Tong's ending is only temporary. After a while, I'm sure that they would rebuild communications and things would go back to the way they were. The Illuminati or a similar group would gain control and nothing would change.
From what I've played so far in the leak, combat feels very iffy. Maybe I'm using cover too much, I don't know. I've never played the original, mind you.
From what I've played so far in the leak, combat feels very iffy. Maybe I'm using cover too much, I don't know. I've never played the original, mind you.
It's pretty challenging. I played it on the normal setting I guess and I was dying in about 4-5 shots. Not complaining since it forced me to think more and I'm sure it'll drag out the game. Note to self-upgrade armor augmentation priority.
Out of curiosity, I played Deus Ex: Goty for the first time (with some enhancement mods) and I have to say that even a game that's quite old, still offers a ton of depth that surpasses even some modern day games. The environments are open and not very well designed, but the gameplay is fun. I do have some problems with enabling parallax mapping. If anyone would be able help me out with that it would be great
You mean the worst ending ever? Mah boi, that is a speedrunner's ending. The true canonical ending is the Illuminati ending.
Worst ending? But I'm a god who is going to show the world a new dawn and bring humanity from darkness. [editline]16th July 2011[/editline] Before you merge with Helios I think Savage tells you that helios told the Chinese in Hong Kong to make triads illegal and to open the roads and that he was trying to address the people's needs ( Triads interfered with trade and so did the blocking of roads ). Joining the Illuminati would have just been controlling humans once again. In Tong's ending , the world would be plunged into the dark ages and eventually a feudal type system would emerge , just resulting in more corruption. Helios ending is the best ending because you are absolute and just one-man ruler of humanity.
I got to play the full game on a eyefinity setup for a few hours at an event in Dallas. It's a lot of fun, but I kept running out of ammo and getting destroyed. [editline]16th July 2011[/editline]
The leak only went up to like medium settings and DX11 wasn't properly incorporated yet. It's safe to say the game will look much different if your capable of handling the settings.
The full version running in DirectX 11 on Eyefinity looked amazing. They also had a stereoscopic 3D setup on a 52 inch monitor, but it wasn't working right. It was hard to resist the urge to copy it to my flash drive and take it home with me. :v:
The beta keeps crashing my computer every 10-15 minutes... anyone have a solution?
