Here's a fun fact for you guys. The people who created the engine, but not the actual game, for Human Revolution (the Crystal engine) made a game in 2005 called Project Snowblind (it's pretty good, I liked the multiplayer) where you played as an augmented soldier in a future Hong Kong.
Project Snowblind was an intended multiplayer view for the Deus Ex franchise, but due to the unpopularity of invisible war, it got it's own name.
So I was dicking around with a crate stacking puzzle, complaining about how much climbing was involved, when I got up to the catwalk and turned around, suddenly it didn't seem as high up any more... Anyone know the safe code for [sp] the top floor of Tai medical tower? In that womans apartment [/sp] also where are you getting this Be Ready message from.
I checked out what playstation magazine had to say about human revolution. Idiotic to say the least. They obviously didnt know what they were talking about. They gave it a 76, and compared it to fallout 3 all throughout the review. Fallout, fucking, 3. Seriously they may aswell compare Mass Effect to borderlands while they're at it. They also thought the ps2 port of deus ex was the original release and that the pc version was a port of that.
Just finished it. That was the best game I've played since the original Deus Ex.
Man I am fucking loving this game so far. GOTY for me, unless Skyrim turns out to be even more awesome. Glad to see it hasn't changed in gameplay at all since the leak. Just got to [sp]Hong Kong[/sp]. I love the atmosphere there, and the fact that you can walk into random little shops and talk to people.
Finally, found links to the FULL soundtrack, 222 fucking songs thats including cinematic audio. All this digging for one damn song :smith:
God dammit [sp]Panchaea[/sp] is so fucking scary. [sp]And this last hour of story progression is so intense I've started sweating.]/sp]

It's 0250, I'm tired as fuck, I have things to do in the morning and my eyes hurt. But I want to keep playing.

Hell, if I compared Call of Duty to every game out there it'd get a big fat fucking 0. [sp](Which isn't saying much because CoD sucks ass anyway.)[/sp]

Fallout 3 is a first person open-world RPG. I don't think it's necessarily a bad thing to compare it to that, but they're very different games.
Just escaped from [sp] Tai's penthouse [/sp] non-lethally, I knew saving those EMP grenades and Gas Grenades would come back to save my ass.

Form an opinion on the game based on the game itself, not on how well it lives up to other games.
I love the social boss battles, the game needs more of them. I just knocked [sp]Taggart[/sp] down a few blocks on Picus TV, then I sorted his aide out. He was a coward and couldn't go through with it :smug: But [sp]Faridah died[/sp] :crying: What could I have done?

I'm learning!
The [sp]surprise at the end credits made me jizz[/sp]
I find it hilarious how Jensen has arm augmentations that allow him to bust down several inches of reinforced concrete walls yet he struggles to break one window with a chair.
Man, I just got back from playing it for, like, five hours. Absolutely love it. The most PC game feeling PC game I've played in ages. So fucking good. The level of improvisation you can get with the tools the developers give the player is unbelievable. Like, I got the Typhoon augmentation, but not the one that lets you punch through walls - found out that you can just use the Typhoon for punching through walls (true, it uses up precious Typhoon ammunition, but it's still pretty awesome). Also, stacking up boxes when I didn't have the praxis points for the jump-enhancing augmentation was more fun than it should've been. Just wandering around the first city with a box in my hands, imagining what the people would've thought if they'd seen me in real life, was just hilarious. Using the Typhoon augmentation to end boss fights in seconds, and punching people unconscious at the press of a button, is hilarious as well :v: I stopped playing after [sp]the side mission with Malaki in Hong Kong finished, with Lee's face being plastered across the Hive club exterior with the recording of his confession playing over and over.[/sp] How far into the game am I, approximately?
Jesus christ what a beautiful fucking game, tough choice on the endings too, my favorite one [sp]was Sarif's, Taggart would be pretty good if you didn't fucking put the Illuminati on power, from the things i remember on the first game, that would be way worse. If it wasn't for the anarchy thing and complete technological fuckup i would've chose Hugh's ending, I don't see how telling the truth about everything would be so bad, was kind of shitty how they done that, "A guy just sabotaged the implants, THAT MEANS TECHNOLOGY IS EVIL, HURR!"[/sp]

It's stating that it shouldn't be used to the point where mass genocide is possible to be committed, which is why it is cast aside. Choosing an ending was very tough, but I feel blowing Panchea is the better of them all, unfortunately. Sarif's would be after that.[/sp]
Heh, I knew that [sp] eliza was AI after reading that "I need to know her measurements but I have never seen her in person" email on a computer, for some reason it just clicked in my head [/sp]
Did anyone else knock out the guy in that side mission where you have to find the stripper? he says "And don't try to knock me out because it's not like I conveniently have the information on me or anything"
I saw that punk dancing in the subway tunnel, I walked up to him, tried to be friendly and talk, then I wanted to walk away from him while holding the A key but instead I hit the Q key. I was not seen in the tunnel for the next 3 hours :v:
Does destroying a robot count as a kill towards the Pacifist achievement?
Does destroying a robot count as a kill towards the Pacifist achievement?
I really, really hope not, if so I've just wasted 10 hour of a pacifist run.
