So I don't really know much about this game. Is it worth buying?
Yes.
Anyone got a trainer for this?
Anyone got a trainer for this?
I do and it's for the latest update too. Not sure if it works on the EU editions. The only problem that I have with it is that the Inf energy and health don't stick after you load a new level.
Could anybody help me out with a little problem I have. I'm running the game on lowest settings, and it actually doesn't look so bad. The framerate seems fine but the mouse seems really laggy or something? Is there any console commands or anything that could help!?
I know what you mean. It can't be fixed at the moment. I think we're all holding out for a patch. Disabling vsync and tripple buffering should help a bit.
I think getting the extra battery augs are kinda useless if you have the regeneration augs. It regenerates so fast and it's not like you'll be spamming takedowns really quickly.
i have everything and i still think it's slow. not to mention it's only one cell, which sucks
Thought this was funny. Will snip if late. Also no spoilers.
that was posted on SA by a guy who saw it on here (and linked to it)
Can you tell me his name? DrBob wants him dead.
ahaha my copy just arrived even though I paid for 6-day delivery because I'm a cheap bastard GUESS YOU LOSE AMAZON
Does anyone else have no blood in the game? Dunno if I'm late or unaware of something, but here's a quote from some website that states:
You can't have an ESRB rated Mature game without some "large sprays of blood" staining the level can you? No. Deus Ex: Human Revolution doesn't skimp on it. It summarises that firefights are "highlighted" by screams, realistic gunfire, explosions and blood sprays. There's civilian slaying, booze and hookers!
So, erm. No screams or blood here, just guys silently falling down. Is it because of the silencer? edit: just went on a shotgun rampage and no blood :/
oh buggers [sp]i punched jaya and took her credits + her memory chip and now i don't get the option to give the bartender the money, so no praxis kit for me [/sp]

There's blood splatter if you kill near a wall (with headshots at least)

You know I was all non-lethal and all on my playthrough then I started to go on a killing rampage with my silenced 10mm [sp]because I got "ambushed" by some FEMA soldiers or something at Picus[/sp] I have no idea why I killed them
I remember seeing a screenshot with a corpse lying a in puddle of blood though, what happened to that?
Thinking of getting this game but I lack the funds to do so. How is it?
Excellent, at first I liked it but was a little underwhelmed compared to the original, though even then I thought it was worth the money. Now I'm a few hours in it's shaping up very very nicely, liking it very nearly as much as the first, if it keeps getting better I might end up liking it more.
Haha. Anyone else notice the pattern of one of the hacks in the strip club place? Pic
god dam those bombs that [sp]blow up if you make a sound on the way to the antenna that is making the backhole signal[/sp] are so fucking annoying
ahaha my copy just arrived even though I paid for 6-day delivery because I'm a cheap bastard GUESS YOU LOSE AMAZON
Game on!
Okay, this game is really cool and I'm having a blast. One thing that's really pissing me off though is how trigger happy everyone is and how easily I'm killed. I was granted access to the police station for the brain chip the one hacker had, and I went upstairs and started hacking a computer. Instead of apprehending me or confronting me or something, you know.. a former employee and friend to some of these guys, the entire floor of detectives just opens fire and empties their clips into my body.
i need a trainer rught nauwww
[sp]I went with Taggart's it allows for augmentations but makes sure they aren't used for the wrong reasons. Sarif's seemed to assumed people would only use them for good. And Darrow's I didn't like. Augmentations can save people who would have otherwise died.[/sp]
[SP]I didn't get the option for Taggart's ending because I spent like 2 hours wandering around trying to find the server room, and I eventually gave up. I knew that talking to them was for different endings, so I was pretty disappointed when one button didn't open up at the end. But how you're describing Taggart's ending, I wish I had looked up a walkthrough to find where he was. The only thing I didn't like about Sarif's ending was that it was saying we would go way too far with augs and eventually become god-like beings. Oh, and what was with the Chimera virus that Page and Megan were talking about after the credits? I don't remember it being mentioned in the first game.[/sp]
Really?Someone yelling "A BOMB" and the quest/achievement name is "Smash The State" Really?
please share it.
Seconded.
Finally saw some blood on the wall. This game needs more blood!
