OOOoo I've been playing all night, it's nice to see the work they put into the detroit skybox. Can see the renaissance center and one detroit center too. cant help but laugh when i hear 'I love Detroit, no place like it!'
More games should be like Deus Ex.
A tip: Get the track and mark aug. It'll make the boss fights much easier.
I finally managed to [sp]save Malik[/sp] without killing anyone, by using all my energy bar things, and sprinting back and forth taking everyone down, or tranquilizing them.
[sp]Wait you can save her?Ffffuck[/sp]
I wouldn't really call this a spoiler, so I won't spoiler tag it, for now.
On one of the cut-scenes, I noticed that on his computer, there is a QR Code.
QR Codes is usually scanned using smart phones, they mostly contain URL links to corporate websites of those who put it there, or such. (For those who do not know)

This is the code somewhat "Enhanced".

Whats weird, is that it just leads to the Wikipedia main page.
Not sure if this has been posted before, but I thought it was a neat "Easter Egg"
wow fuck that boss fight in FEMA is kicking my ass
[sp]I'm at the limb clinic when the augmentations get recalled, should i get the new chip, or is it some conspiracy?[/sp]
Kicking the security off it's own network feels good.

are you talking about the first boss?

Hacking the pentagon and illuminati feels good

If you must spoil stuff for yourself, [sp]yes, but it won't hinder you.[/sp]

Those things are also on boxes in Sarif Industries' office.

wait a minute does that have to do with what [sp]the limb doctor was talking about how 'implanting biochips should be your own choice' and stuff like that?[/sp]
[editline]27th August 2011[/editline]
that qrcode is really weird, we should find all the qrcodes in the game and scan them
I wish your enemies didn't go on alert if you got caught by 1 guy for a split second before you knock his teeth in.
I wish your enemies didn't go on alert if you got caught by 1 guy for a split second before you knock his teeth in.
that doesn't happen all the time
if he doesn't yell or somehow alert others, then you won't get caught
Don't you mean [sp]Paul[/sp] He was the first one.
[sp]Paul was born in 2018, JC in 2029[/sp]

Alright, how the shit do you do this without setting the alarm off?
Can some one PLEASE tell me the soundtrack will be released to people who didn't get the Augmented Edition!

Timing, or invisibility.

I tripped the alarms all the way at the beginning then moved forward as far as I can to the point where I passed them. The end up going back to the beginning to reset the alarm so use that time to get to the elevator.
The architecture keeps surprising me, I love every moment of this game
Timing, or invisibility.
Does the cloak work on lasers?
I tripped the alarms all the way at the beginning then moved forward as far as I can to the point where I passed them. Just ordered the DLC from g2play, never ordered from there before.
How long does it usually take to get a key?

Cloaking would work.
Cloaking would work.
I haven't even tried cloaking through lasers because I thought bending a laser beam around a moving object without disturbing it enough to set off the sensors would be unfeasible. :v:

In one of the loading screen things it says it'd work. I never did it because I didn't get cloaking until late in the game so I'm just trusting it.
Hey all, just so you know G2Play.net is selling the explosive mission pack for nine bucks. I'm probably going to pick it up later, I want those remote explosives.
Linky: http://www.g2play.net/store/Deus-Ex-DLC-Explosive-Mission-Pack-Steam-Key.html
Exclusive mission: Tong's Rescue
Multi-shot Grenade Launcher
Remote-Detonated Explosive Device
Automatic Unlocking Device
I think I'll pass.
I have fully upgraded cloaking although I don't really even use it, only when I need to switch between two cover objects and a guard is looking at the gap.
That aside, anyone else find that they're completing the game with their energy bar continuously at 1? I don't even need to recharge my other bars since one is plenty enough.

Annoying as hell though when it looks like it's recharged and you walk up to a enemy for a take down.
