are you talking about the first boss? [editline]28th August 2011[/editline] Hacking the pentagon and illuminati feels good
The guy with the machine gun on his arm who takes 3 million bullets.
Once I save up the money, I'm going to buy this game. Will it be worth it? I've never heard of Deus Ex before.
Second boss battle done! So far this game is GOTY for sure, but I'm a bit angry that all boss battles so far, including [sp]the fight in the hangar against the security bots.[/sp] seem to be combat-focused. I'm playing hacking and stealth, damnit!
[HOW DO YOU MAKE SPOILER TAGS? :///]!
[ sp]insert spoiler here[/sp]
Has anyone found a non-cheathappens trainer for this game?
I found a neat little glitch with the Augmentation menu and the Steam overlay. Open up the augmentation menu. If you keep your Steam overlay open for a long period of time (or even just 30 seconds) and then close it right when the heartbeat normally makes the sound, the sound gets extremely loud as if it the game played 20 heartbeats together at the same time. :v:
The guy with the machine gun on his arm who takes 3 million bullets.
If you can do the level again, pick up the rocket launcher in the room with the robot.
Does anyone know how you start the Explosive Mission Pack DLC? Is it a sidequest somewhere?
If you can do the level again, pick up the rocket launcher in the room with the robot.
I'll see if I can load an autosave
Hahaha i found a cheap tactic to fight Namir
Hahaha i found a cheap tactic to fight Namir
You mean [sp]making him keep jumping over the wall in the middle of the room?[/sp]
Anyone ever noticed this?
Does anyone know how you start the Explosive Mission Pack DLC? Is it a sidequest somewhere?
It's added to the main quest, on the second time in Hengsha you have to do it. [sp]Ya meet someone from the First Game in this quest ;) [/sp] It's also very VERY short. Took me 13 minutes to do it, and I reloaded my game 4 times because of me getting spotted. You can finish the level in less than a minute without being spotted.
You mean [sp]making him keep jumping over the wall in the middle of the room?[/sp]
:(
Oh and by the way, is that always like that for you too? You know, Jensen's farts being augmented.
Spoilers for an option during the opening mission. [sp]This has probably already been said, but if you dick around too long before meeting Sarif at the helipad during the hostage crisis, eventually he'll tell you that the situation has escalated. If you meet him after that happens, then he'll tell you all of the hostages will have been killed except for the woman at the end. The game will not cease to remind you that you fucked up- the woman at the end won't stop bawling about her husband who was with the hostages, the police officers will be furious at you and your boss for causing the death of the hostages, and the guy who gives you intelligence at the start of the mission tells you about a phone call, involving the hostages screaming for help while choking on poison gas, and they couldn't do anything about it. [/sp]
This happened to me. I had no idea I was actually being timed at the time and thought the hostages dying was just part of the story. When I found out later that they could have been saved, I was so pissed off.
Oh and by the way, is that always like that for you too? You know, Jensen's farts being augmented.
Big booty bitches
Are any sites selling the tactical enhancement pack?
Ok so after stuffing 4 unconscious bodies into a vent, when I moused over the first two, it said they were dead, not unconscious. No idea how they died. Does it count against the pacifist achievement or what?
I've never let the hostages die. I'd feel so guilty.
I finally got this game downloaded, installed, and played it for two hours. Then the very next day in a fury of rage at my constant failure to do chores, my dad bans me from playing video games until I leave this household. I NEVER ASKED FOR THIS. :suicide:
Once I save up the money, I'm going to buy this game. Will it be worth it? I've never heard of Deus Ex before.
Don't buy this if you don't like good games
Goddamn whoever fucking designed the Yelena boss fight needs to fucking get out Who thought it was a great idea to elecrify the whole floor when these stupid easy to kill generators die, with no way to save yourself as well. Garunteed death on hardest difficulty... and they are everywhere, and easy to destroy. Completely fucking stupid.
Wow. The ending was so disappointing. Not the ending itself, but the way you choose your ending. But, overall it's a solid game. [sp]Seriously, pressing a button? Deus Ex actually had you running around to choose what ending you wanted[/sp]
I disagree about the way you choose the ending [sp] But I was hoping to see what would the future look like and what would happen to Jensen after I chose one of the three endings, excluding the one that kills him [/sp] I always thought that in the elevator that Megan was going to say I love you to Jensen... but I just realized when I woke up [sp] She was going to say that she used his DNA [/sp] The only one who ever loved Jensen was Malik :(, and Pritchard too.

I love it when Adam says, "It's been awhile since I've stepped the beat." I cracked up the first time I heard it. Two fucking Deus Ex men.
Did you get an OnLive code in the retail one? If so, I'll trade you the second Humble Indie bundle and a Steamgifts invite for it. My Augmented Edition from Best Buy didn't have it in the box for some reason.
