When I confirmed the prologue counts for the pacifist achievement, I ended it by [sp]saving Malik by whipping out my fully upgraded explosive revolver[/sp]

I was really hoping for an epilogue type thing where it shows you the results of all the choices you made.
Goddamn whoever fucking designed the Yelena boss fight needs to fucking get out
Who thought it was a great idea to elecrify the whole floor when these stupid easy to kill generators die, with no way to save yourself as well. Garunteed death on hardest difficulty... and they are everywhere, and easy to destroy. Completely fucking stupid.
If you have the jumping aug [sp]Bunnyhop with it to avoid most of the damage. You'll be able to recover a good bit of health while she's stunned, but not all of it. When she tries to charge you again, run around backwards in the inner circle, shooting her. When she stops to use the Typhoon, she tends to keep moving forward before activating it- keep moving and shooting and you should be able to clear the blast radius. When your health is at 100 again, blast another generator and repeat.[/sp]
Jensen and Pritchard are such bros.
It's strange, I know the devs said that, as the game went on, you'd come to respect Pritchard, but never quite like him; yet I can't identify that moment when I realised;
"Y'know, he's doing his job. He's helping me with this." I just did, it clicked when I was on [sp]Pancheau, when I said I was going down to cut off the broadcast.[/sp]
Someone tried to run the game on an older computer?

I got really lucky, I [sp]shot her with the PEP and she got stuck and couldn't move or attack for the rest of the fight.[/sp]
Panchea [sp]is fucking creepy man with all those zombie-like augments[/sp]

Funny they chose Asians for that. :v:

Oh God yes. Or when I was talking to HUGE FUCKING SPOILER [sp] the old woman who helped Adam when his parents died and put the security detail on her. That conversation made me think that he ain't all bad[/sp]
46/49 achievements, I'm such a whore.
I intend on getting the rest which are Pacifist, Doctorate and Gun Nut on another playthrough on easy so I can quickly just go through it as I've already finished the game on the hardest difficulty.
I'll probably do it after they release more updates and hopefully some DLC, that would be nice as I'd like to finish everything on that final playthrough.

[sp]I found it really creepy before you actually meet the augs, because of the empty, blood-stained corridors with distant screams and moans. It got less scary for me when you actually encounter some, and they just spaz out at you while accusing you of being a ghost.[/sp]

Wait, you can't kill anyone in the prologue either?
Here's the intro soundtrack I uploaded.

I feel so sad [sp]because am forced to kill almost all the crazy augments because I'm outnumbered :([/sp]
Actually since I've never played the first Deus Ex I decided I should buy it when I get the money and then afterwards do my second playthrough on HR.
I've been told the second game isn't great, Invisible War? What kind of story is there to it, worth buying and playing just for the story or is it just garbage?

Word on the street is that it's just garbage.
Where in the room is it?
It's in the under-construction room with a vent on the floor.
its been 7 hours and i just met the first boss
I've already got the 50 takedown achievements :v:
but god this first boss is annoying. this is not fun. how can i kill him easily
I finally got this game downloaded, installed, and played it for two hours.
Then the very next day in a fury of rage at my constant failure to do chores, my dad bans me from playing video games until I leave this household.
I NEVER ASKED FOR THIS. :suicide:
Out of curiosity, how old are you?
Wait, does the tutorial level count for the pacifist achievement? I'm not talking about the terrorist level I mean the very beginning, before Adam is augmented.

You're obviously not playing on the hardest mode.
Been avoiding this thread to avoid spoilers, but damn I haven't enjoyed sneaking in a game this much in a long time.

You can do that part without killing anyone.
Also I'm glad I started immediately on hardest, forces you to plan ahead, not just shoot every problem that presents itself.

What? Sure, you die in a second if in the open, but it isn't exactly hard of challenging. Haven't got a single alert, kill or stun so far and I'm in china.

I don't remember what point it was, but eventually I realized he was invaluable to the team as I was, and couldn't have gotten far without him.
The things you don't really pay attention to..
The weapon draw animation for the PEPS is bloody awesome. Go watch it.

I didn't do that sidequest :frown: I didn't know how to get it, Pritchard never said anything hinting at is as far as I remember.
This thread has more blacked out text than the .PDFs Wikileaks give out.
Why does my game crash when I enter the area with the basketball in Detroit, I've validated after each crash and it downloads the same files.
