56 screenshots and a reminder for the third dev diary video.
So, what is the common consensus on DX: HR now? I don't intend to play the leak myself, largely due to a shit internet connection and I don't want to ruin it. But is it good, enjoyable and so forth? I stopped reading the old thread as the leak gained popularity.

Maybe I'll try writing out deus ex with FPers from this thread replacing the main characters.
And set in a forum, kind of like in TNM.
A lot of the augs in DX 1 were kind of useless other then in a select few situations. That's one of the few things I didn't like about it.
The one aug that let you deto rockets mid-flight. Goddamn life saver.
Slow day today.
Is the Shifter mod for Deus Ex any good?
Anyone care to point me out some graphical modifications for DX1 GOTY?
Did we ever get the music to the longer trailer?

Amazing. Can't wait for the OST to be released. I will listen to that every day and night.

First link does not work.
I never understood what Adam means by, "If you want to make enemies........try to change something."
Could someone explain?
He means that there will always be someone who opposes the change of anything.
Ex. Deus Ex: Human Revolution. The introduction of the third person cover system (and other elements) pissed a fair few people off at first. There was a ton of whining about it not being "true deus ex", not buying the game, etc. etc. It's less now but I'm sure there are still people whining. Hell, you could use any new game as an example, especially those based on old series (BF, CoD, Hitman, Fallout, Elder Scrolls, Call of Juarez, GTA, etc.)
In the context of the game he's probably talking about the augmentation of humans. Instead of letting people evolve and live naturally, the augmentation companies are mechanically modifying people.

The Illuminati don't want change if they can't control it, i.e. augmentations. Sarif is trying to improve humanity with augs, and as such he's made an enemy of the Illuminati.
Will you be able to buy the soundtrack later or will it only be available if you buy the special edition?

If you try and change something you're bound to make enemies.

News Anchors generally say a lot of one liners.
yes, makes the skills system make sense, adds shit that makes sense, fixes bugs and shit, good mod
It also works with various other mods, which is great seeing as it makes the gameplay much more enjoyable.

I hope Jensen says more one-liners similar to JC's memorable ones.
Jensen already made one line that became a meme across the internet.
He never asked for this, though.

This game is built in such a serious manner and we make a joke out of it - I love it!
How old is jensen anyway?
He was born in 1993, so 33 or 34.

Basically the conversation augmentation that reads peoples expressions in the game when you persuade someone is really real

Don't forget the health regen, which was the subject of much whining. IMO I agree that medkit hunting later in the game was fucking annoying, but it could be a little less forgiving though, ala MGS4.
