I like how he complained about the lack of HUD in the opening, that's because you weren't augmented. That was the point. Then when you go back into first-person after you're augmented, you have a HUD. Have you even played the first Deus Ex?

So on one of the early Detroit missions you have to do some stuff around a police station. So I walk out of the police station, having done [I]nothing wrong[/I] and there's like 5 SWAT teams (greatly exaggerated) outside the door shooting me. This makes no sense! Also, "Shove off. Or I shove you off." is one the worst voice acted lines I've heard.

The point isn't to run out guns blazing and kill everyone because "I AM AUGMENTED I AM INVINCIBLE!", its to do your objective and do it well, and in this game it just so happens that involves almost no gunfights if you can manage it.

If it was like that it would make the game boring. The point of the game is you can choose how to make your character. You can be a stealthy, lethal ninja type or go rambo with the right upgrades.

What's the best way to go through this game? I'm thinking stealth/guerilla warfare kind of approach. Stealth kill a lot without being found. Or do you get a bonus for not killing or something?

I am going to playthrough again with silenced weapons and stealthing and just kill everyone.
