i meant after [sp]the women, do you kill them and wait or do you just kill them and shoot the glass or what?[/sp]
That fight took me ages. [sp]I ran about pressing all the buttons, because pistol shots to the head didn't seem to bother the women. Then I used the laser rifle. And I killed the women, shot the glass and someone said it would be ineffective. So I stopped, but the fight ended so I guess it was effective.[/sp]
I had to quit playing Duke Nukem within the first five minutes as well.
How does it feel to not like anything at all?
When I say "the game is too difficult for me" you guys translate "GAME IS FINE, YOU FUCKING SUCK" I mean, really? There's something clearly wrong with the game when you die on the first enemy, I don't care who you are but if SOMEONE FUCKING DIES WITHIN THREE MINUTES ON DEFAULT DIFFICULTY SOMETHING IS WRONG. NO, I don't suck, the game is ridiculously hard, not the hard-hard, but the retard kind of hard where you question what killed you so fast (Call of Duty), that's honestly how I felt...I said "this must be Call of Duty", of course that's after I passed the horrific cutscene that resembles graphics of Assassin's Creed 2. The reason for all this is simple: HOW THE FUCK DID THIS GET GOOD REVIEWS? If I didn't read any reviews for it prior then I wouldn't be sittin' here, discussin' with you, now would I? Look buddy, I'm a gamer, that means I play games, NOT RPGs, RTSs, anything like that but FPS so how in the hell could someone produce such a game where the player dies in the first minutes. The worst part about it, human beings made this, meaning mankind just brought stupidity to a new level. We're all fucking doomed. Oh my god, thank you for this. This further continues my theory that current-gen games are ripping off CoD. Crysis of course did that, now look at Deus Ex.
The only reason you died so fast is because you have no idea how Deus Ex plays. It's pretty obvious you came into it expecting CoD-like gameplay, shooting gallery after shooting gallery with 3 tons of kevlar on. Have you even played the earlier Deus Ex games? I haven't played a Deus Ex game in like 7 years and forgot everything about it, and I died in the beginning as well, when I tried the leak because of that reason. Also how the fuck is Deus Ex ripping off CoD?
Stop feeding the incredibly obvious troll and move on folks, he's got a ban history longer than Postal's for this kind of thing.
When do you get the laser rifle and the damn crossbow. I keep finding ammo for them both and can't use them.
I had to quit playing Duke Nukem within the first five minutes as well.
Are you fucking serious? You can't kill the first guy when it involves running in circles around him. You're not even trying. Fun fact: I kinda like Doom 3. Sure it's an abomination in its series, but when you don't think of Doom it's just fine. Also just picture this guy playing the original Deus Ex. "Okay, the original Deus Ex, let's do it." *equips pistol* "WTF only 6 rounds in each mag?" *speaks with Paul and chooses the Sniper Rifle* "Great let's kill some assholes!" - 90 seconds later - *Dead* "WTF I shot this guy right in the balls! This game sucks lolzor! I'll troll it on Facepunch!"
I wonder if the SWAT team has augmented stupidity and maybe the door was a pull instead of a push.
I had to quit playing Duke Nukem within the first five minutes as well.
Seriously? I didn't like Duke Nukem Forever but I played close to the end. Maybe you should try the game again, on the easiest difficulty, and try to get past the tutorial level. Then you can say something about the difficulty.
I wonder if the SWAT team has augmented stupidity
I think they got the AI of the enemies in Deus Ex 1 "I saw something, a guy in a coat." *hides behind thin pillar* "I guess it was nothing."
I've actually had some mouse control issues, but that's likely because my laptop can just barely run it, I had the same problem with Mass effect 2. Sure it can be rage inducing, and on my first play through I died at the tutorial level because I wasn't used to the cover system or my poor mouse control yet. It's nothing to quit instantly over and complain on a forum about though. If you truly are a "gamer" as you say, I would think you would last longer than dieing on the tutorial level a couple of times.
There's something clearly wrong with the game when you die on the first enemy
No, there is something wrong with the way you're playing. Or you.
This game was a lot harder than I expected, but that's not a bad thing. It definately gave me a reason to keep playing. A lot of games bored me to death when they were too easy in the single-player *cough*callofduty battlefield dukenukem halo and homefront*cough* Going to play some more in the morning.
How the fuck do I kill the 2nd boss? Fucking electricity..
This is just a personal thing but, I rented this game from Red Box eagerly waiting to get home to play it after I read so many great reviews about the game. Put the game in, I notice pretty much everything is just gold, which isn't bad, I guess. Anyway, I begin the game on normal difficulty and play through the first "walkthrough cutscene" until I got to the gameplay, oh boy was I excited!... ....Then a very ugly, generic futurstic looking gun appeared before me, along with no HUD making the game look like it was still in an alpha stage. Graphics aren't up to par with 2011 and the voice acting is mediocre, especially that guy in the suit. I also like how sprint only activated for five seconds, but that's not my real complaint. My real complaint is the AI and the damage they do. I fight my first baddie with absoultely horrible controls and jerky aiming just to die in literally three bullets on NORMAL. I know what you're saying "ITZ REASLISTIC!1!"...it's also a video game, entertaining material to have fun. Overall: 2/10 The story seemed interesting enough but since I only got five minutes of actual gameplay I wont be able to witness all it's glory. What a shame. And I'm probably going to get "WELL YOU FUCKING SUCK GOSH!", I was playing on the NORMAL difficulty which is probably what most gamers chose. I love FPS's so I know how to play one properly, so this has nothing to do with skill. And if I was doing something wrong, the game certainly didn't tell or instruct me on HOW to play the game. Just awful..
i can't breath jesus christ hahahaha [editline]27th August 2011[/editline]
How the fuck do I kill the 2nd boss? Fucking electricity..
two words peps. gun. (actually that's just what i'm hearing, she got stuck for me so i just shot her dead)
How the fuck do I kill the 2nd boss? Fucking electricity..
Use concussion mines / grenades? Use a typhoon? Cloak? lol

Haha wow, This Tizz guy better be trolling. I'm TERRIBLE at FPS games and I died a couple of hundred times in the first Deus Ex but I managed to play this one on normal difficulty only dying a couple of times. Also how do you get inside the armory in the police station in detroit?
Use concussion mines / grenades? Use a typhoon? Cloak? lol
Doesn't work. [sp]She kills me in like 1 magazine, and when I throw nades, shit just explodes and sends electricity through the floor[/sp]
2nd boss [sp]she didn't fire a single bullet at me, she just ran around trying to ram me and she was easy to dodge. 2 rockets and 50 bullets (one burst while she was paralyzed)from the heavy rifle killed her[/sp]
Playing through the section with the riots and met the senile lady, (Don't worry, none of that will make any sense until you find out anyway), [sp]Ms. Walthers thought I was a meals-on-wheels guy, why can't I make her dinner? :gonk: [/sp]
I'm playing on "Give me deus ex" so [sp]She's practically shitting Typhoon bullets[/sp]
For the second boss [sp]Grab the gas grenades and mines, combine them and throw them like their candy. She's like a kid to them. Which makes you a pedophile...dear god the game makes sense now.[/sp]
ITT: Everyone is pro video gamers.
ITT: Everyone is pro video gamers.
ITT: All but one are at least somewhat competent video gamers. This isn't Doom, you don't go around circle-strafing everything point blank.
ITT: Everyone is pro video gamers.
Wow can you not just accept the fact that maybe you aren't playing tackling the game properly?? Practically everyone is handling it pretty damn well the only problems I see really are about the boss fights which are actually kind of the only weird parts in the game.
ITT: Everyone is pro video gamers.
Use cover, move if you're being flanked, try to hit them when they're reloading, if get the drop on guys you can take one or two out before they know you're there, blind fire to force enemies into cover or stay in it, it's all about positioning and awareness.
3rd boss made me sad [sp]went to the limb clinic even though i told myself not to, had no health items, only had ammo for revolver and pistol. had to bring the turret all the way down to him to beat him[/sp]
ITT: Everyone is pro video gamers.
Don't play on "Give me Deus Ex"
Anyone else feel like some of the augs aren't needed that much? The lung augs just don't seem to be worth it.
