Anyone else who can't lower the AA? :(
When I pirated it, I couldn't lower the AA without it telling me my computer couldn't handle it. In fact, I couldn't lower anything, it was all stuck on EXTREME DETAILS. But then I bought it, and I could lower everything. I've heard of a few people having the same issue as you though. Don't know why it happens ): Does anybody know where to get something like a Trainer for the game? I want to go through the game again with all augments before I even leave the Sarif building :v: (User was banned for this post ("Warez (still counts)" - Autumn))
[sp]First time I walked into Namir's boss room, I mistook the statues for skinless corpses.[/sp]
Once I got over the fact that Barrett had an anti-air gun for an arm, and could throw grenades at me despite not knowing where I was, I realised you could just stun gun him, headshot, stun gun, headshot, etc. It actually became the easiest boss fight I've done in a game.
I just spent about 2 hours trying to sneak into the PD Morgue after failing the conversation....and then I found the sewer...
I am only 5 hours in but wow I couldn't tell you how much I grinned the first time I did a take-down with stealth on it looked so boss coming out of it and smacking that guy :v:
I just spent about 2 hours trying to sneak into the PD Morgue after failing the conversation....and then I found the sewer...
I just kept using the 'absolution' option, or whatever it was called. Anyway, if you do succeed at the conversation, go to the armory, knock out the guy, hide him, and enter the armory with ease. [sp]That woman Letitia tells you the password to the armory.[/sp]
You can use cheatengine, though that is a bit tedious and it's quite easy to fuck up and get several million praxis points.
Noo I only want enough praxis points to get me where I was at the end of my first playthrough, so that I can get them legitimately again from there on at the start of a new game.
So my second playthrough is gonna be lethal just so I can use the sweet double-barreled hunting shotgun I got from Best Buy for no reason.
get a trainer that gives you several million praxis points and level up to where you were and only use a praxis point when you unlock one

So are the pre-order weapons exclusive to pre-orders or can you actually get them in-game anyway?

i never asked to deal with this
So are the pre-order weapons exclusive to pre-orders or can you actually get them in-game anyway?
Pre-order exclusive. Well, actually I didn't preorder and I got the Tactical Enhancement pack for free. Just in the game case, no special edition or anything.
Pre-order exclusive. Well, actually I didn't preorder and I got the Tactical Enhancement pack for free. Just in the game case, no special edition or anything.
Yeah they've been selling that as a 'limited edition' from what I've seen.
I don't know if this has happened to any of you before, but have you ever encountered a [sp]mech or whatever it's called, and notice you have no EMP grenades left?[/sp] [sp]When i went after Zhao, i noticed 2 mechs in the hangar bay and i threw one EMP grenade to destroy one of the mechs.[/sp] [sp]I had to waste so much ammo killing the other one, because i didn't have an EMP grenade left, then i go to the control room in the hangar bay or whatever it's called and wow, an EMP grenade was in the drawer ALL that time.[/sp]
Really? That happened to me aswell yesterday. I was like "Huh, only got one of these... I should find another around here... Oh well, I'll just kill 1 with a grenade and the other with a frag and bullets" Then I go up to the control room and find another grenade there... "I knew it..." I guess it could have been worse if I didn't use the frag grenade. I think I didn't even waste 10 Zenith bullets on it after the frag. Btw, how do I get the pre-order weapons?

The Explosive pack you get the grenade launcher after completing the bonus mission.
Is it possible to eventually get every augmentation fully upgraded without using cheats?
Can you play this and understand it, if you've never played the first Deus Ex?
People really should look up about the game before making posts like this. Human Revolution is a prequel.
I am contemplating buying this but I played the pre-release version and was not a massive fan. Have there been major changes since that version?
If you had the Tactical pack, you would receive the Shotgun and Silencer Sniper Rifle after you get augmented. The Explosive pack you get the grenade launcher after completing the bonus mission.
And if you get the Nordic edition you get both :v: Also, watching the credits to the end was so worth it. [sp]When that theme kicked in...[/sp]

Finally finished it. Awesome game, it feels like an old school game with many modern features and gives you many options. I wished to play the game without killing anyone but I knew that would be just a wish. But I did try to play as stealthy as possible and mostly succeed. The boss fights were very interesting except maybe the first one. [sp]My god, the Namir battle was cool as hell, I really didn't expect him to look like that, plus the statues were pretty strange, too.[/sp] As for the ending (The whole story has too many moments to discuss them in detail.) I really like the [sp]destruction of the base, killing everyone. It's kind of anti-climatic though, but all three other option feel wrong in some aspect. I, who hate how people bring religion, soul and bullshit like that to this, in the end chose the Sarif's ending, to counter Burrow's revelations and to hinder Illuminati. Now that I think about it, I didn't kill Burrow so I wonder how that would turn out.[/sp] So, now to play again, but this time give myself few augs from the beginning. What's the best way to get myself Praxis and maybe weapon upgrades?
I might start again, and properly spend my time upgrading the jump aug. Enough to survive that boss fight.
Yes! Finally got 2nd boss down. [sp]She got stuck in the wall and I shot her 100 times in the head with the shotgun and heavy rifle.[/sp]
Whilst I was sneaking through Tai Yong I swear I could hear bits of the Versalife theme.

awesome. they didn't even go alarmed

This part was so easy :| [sp]There's a vent on the far right which takes you straight out.[/sp]
