[QUOTE=Contag;31988081]What is the reference?[/QUOTE] Dopefish from DooM. (or was it Quake?)
[QUOTE=Hoboharry;31985726]I don't know if this has happened to any of you before, but have you ever encountered a [sp]mech or whatever it's called, and notice you have no EMP grenades left?[/sp] [sp]When i went after Zhao, i noticed 2 mechs in the hangar bay and i threw one EMP grenade to destroy one of the mechs.[/sp] [sp]I had to waste so much ammo killing the other one, because i didn't have an EMP grenade left, then i go to the control room in the hangar bay or whatever it's called and wow, an EMP grenade was in the drawer ALL that time.[/sp][/QUOTE] [sp]There's also a rocket launcher with 2 rockets on the other side of the room[/sp]
Man, are you fucking kidding me? I just took down the sniper from the level where you encounter that group that fucked up Sarif for the second time, and because he heard me .5 seconds before I put him to sleep, EVERY GUARD in the room instantly knows where I am despite a silent take down. They could have taken a cue from Metal Gear Solid, where guards have to radio for help and if you get them quickly enough, nothing happens.
[QUOTE=Dr Bob;31987507]Following on from what someone else was saying about the music, the score in this game seems to be much more ambient and atmospheric as opposed to the melodic score of the original game. What this results in is "less memorable" but much more suitable music, wouldn't you agree? Here is an example: [media]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uzvw8uSWucM[/media] [media]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ym-mQlanzHE[/media] On top of that, the music is much more dynamic in Human Revolution, with different types of music based on the different alert states hostiles can have.[/QUOTE] All I know is the music in the Deus Ex series has always been good.
[QUOTE=booster;31988096]Dopefish from DooM. (or was it Quake?)[/QUOTE] More like dopefish from Commander Keen.

Psychic alerting of allies.
So, you guys remember [sp] the convention with Taggart and the part where Sandoval was going to kill himself?[/sp] [sp]Did any of you try winning the conversation again after having lost it, via loading some save? I did that on both conversations. :smith:[/sp]
Guys, my resolution for the whole pc has changed for no reason what so ever, how would I change it so I can get out of safe mode?
I like how when you beat [sp]Yelena and she collapses, Eliza asks if you're going to help her. Adam casually says "Maybe". Then he talks with Eliza for so long when he turns around, Yelena is dead in a massive pool of blood.[/sp]
Im gonna try this with Nvidia 3d glasses I hope it'll be as cool as crysis2
I'm starting my second playthrough right now, a.k.a. [sp]DON'T[/sp] KILL EVERYTHING [sp]BECAUSE I FUCKED UP MY PACIFIST RUN.[/sp] (No actual spoilers in the spoiler tags.)
[QUOTE=GetBent;31987865]But then, those legs, ew.[/QUOTE] Great for foot jobs.
[QUOTE=GetBent;31987865]But then, those legs, ew.[/QUOTE]I thought they looked pretty awesome.
Who chose Non-Lethal for the first level? [Made a mistake and chose the Tranq gun]
[QUOTE=Jericho_Rus;31987905]Maybe it's because you listened to it a lot? I'm talking about choosing a completely random track without knowing it's name (aka "Sarif Industries", although I can remember that one). While playing, I even forget the music is there instead of hearing the combat track play and go "oh shit, I got caught".[/QUOTE] i remember sarif industries, i remember that one you linked, i can recall most of the music. and i haven't at all listened to the ost. i can remember most of it.

Dammit, i want a trainer that works... anyone heard of a good one ?
[QUOTE=leach139;31987741]Anyone else having issues with dual monitors? The cursor isn't being tethered to screen 1 properly, so whenever I go to fire or something if my cursor has gotten onto screen 2 the game minimizes (so the game's practically unplayable)[/QUOTE] that is a pretty common issue with a lot of games, probably easier to disable your secondary display in the nvidia/ati control panel until you finish the game
Fuck yeah just finished my first playthrough. Give Me Deus Ex, Pacifist, and Foxiest of the Hounds. Damn game crash on me during secret ending though, had to rewatch credits.
[QUOTE=certified;31988259]If you played MGS4 or 3 it is just like that. Psychic alerting of allies.[/QUOTE] I just beat MGS3, and if I alerted a guard, he'd radio his home base. Even if he just pressed the button and uttered a word before I took him down, the base would notify everyone else that something was amiss. Even then, they'd go into "alarm mode" and have to search the area. Oh, and if you shot his radio, he couldn't use it. This guy went "He-" before I silently took him down and everyone on the lower level of the room instantly knew where I was. I forgot to mention, I was behind an obstruction, so the fact that they couldn't see me just adds to the frustration. [editline]28th August 2011[/editline] [QUOTE=Jericho_Rus;31987817][B]That. Ass.[/B] [IMG]http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lprxuwQrxF1qer56zo1_500.jpg[/IMG][/QUOTE] Reminds me of Aeon Flux, the cartoon, not the shitty Charlize Theron movie.
Is there a disco ending for HR? Please tell me there is.
[QUOTE=FuzzyPoop;31979834]Kill all the guys quickly.[/QUOTE] Or take a ton of energy items and sprint around taking down everyone non-lethally before the robot arrives :v: I think I used 2 of the big jars.
[sp]Having the new chip installed is just annoying for the boss fight[/sp] Its not as annoying though if he didn't throw grenades.
Am I the only one who thinks the area with the two bots at the end of Act 2 (Hengsha) are kind of a game breaker? It's like they assume you are either a hacker or a heavy combat player, and basically anything else doesn't work. I for one was a very social based stealth player who made use of what I could find, with only level 3 hacking and no bot doms. It took me HEAVY backtracking to the area before which nearly got me killed just so I could get a minigun. [editline]28th August 2011[/editline] [QUOTE=Matrix374;31989396]-snip spoiler-[/QUOTE] TAG THAT SHIT. Also yeah [sp]if you get the chip the fight with Namir is basically a fight with no augs, as your killswitch is activated, also an emp will KILL YOU if you have the chip[/sp]
[QUOTE=reecematee;31985044]fucking hell, [sp] in the chinese medical facility, when like 10 men come after you, i was lucky, I had fully upgraded cloak and and 2 energy bars, so 14 seconds, just made it after I got out of that vault, got the ghost and smooth operator, felt like a boss[/sp][/QUOTE] I was pissed off that they came with a bunch of men so I kill a lot of them. I always get pissed off when they suddenly come into the area hunting down for me
Oh come on. My friend who gifted me the game was like "NO TALKING ABOUT THE GAME UNTIL WE BOTH FINISH IT". Now I'm just about to go to China and he's like "LOL 4 ENDINGS, 2 ARE CANON AND FYI AFTER CREDITS SHIT - YOU HAVE TO PLAY THE ORIGINAL GAME TO UNDERSTAND :3" God damn it. "and this affects you how?" oh it doesn't, apart from the fact that now I'll worry about which ending I'll pick, woohoo! :smithicide:

Luckily I happened to be carrying two EMP grenades on me, so it wasn't too much trouble.
I also went into a murder spree [sp]when they started to hunt me down at Picus[/sp] I just felt the need to kill them because I was pissed off for no reason
