Deus Ex: Human Revolution V3 - I Never Asked For This

Or maybe they just didn't feel like doing it
I don't like the [sp] blow stuff up[/sp] ending. It's like, [sp] Who am I to decide the fate of others!? *murders thousands of people*[/sp]
Okay, a bit late here but I just got around to completing the game and... wow. That was... brilliant.
I'm just curious; what ending did other people pick? I chose the 'truth' (Darrow's) ending. Didn't want to see augmentation technology abandoned, but at the same time I didn't want to see it abused, and I figured that the 'other' option was a cheap way of getting out of things without really making a good decision. And... well, taking that fourth option wasn't going to get rid of the problems - there'd still be hidden organisations out there trying to manipulate events in their favour.
I figure telling the truth was best. Let humanity make its own mind up on whether or not it wants to go head first into the unknown.

I chose Darrow's as well, but I re-loaded and checked out the other ones, too. I wish there was another ending closer to the Helios ending of Deus Ex. I didn't have to merge with an AI, just become some sort of benevolent ruler of sorts.
I wish they resolved the Reed/Jensen conflict. They could've done a better job characterizing the bosses as well (like, at all). I seriously had no idea who any of them were, who they worked for, or why I couldn't talk them down or anything. They just show up out of nowhere. I also wish they expanded upon that giant computer.... thing, with the sirens from Minority Report. I saw that and literally exclaimed 'Holy Shit!' and then... nothing. You kill them sirens and that's that. And finally, it was a little jarring that Jensen went from going throughout the entire game not caring about the augmentation debate or the ethics surrounding it to suddenly going all Deep Thought on it all right at the end.
The game is excellent, don't get me wrong, but to me it felt like it started to grow weak starting around the time the player makes it to Montreal.
I liked taggert at the end, he was like 'i'm fucked anyway what does it matter if you know or not'

Yeah, I was a bit pissed off when Megan just took off without resolving their conflict at all, especially considering finding her was one of your main sources of motivation to progress the story.

maybe they started rushing the game?
Finally beat it. Seemed to drag on after the 10 hr mark.
I can't find the music used in the endings, which is disappointing, since its SO DAMN POWERFUL.
Not the credits music, the one in the endings.
Didn't get a proper answer for this:
So I tried playing Deus Ex: GOTY and everything is going really fast for some reason, characters stop mid-sentence and JC Denton runs 2x as fast, any help?
(Not sure if I should be asking here since it's the Human Revolution thread.

You run out of ammo WAY too quickly in this game, there's been more than one instance where I found myself completely out of ammo for my weapons and being forced to use the takedown system to do the dirty work.
yeah man theres not enough ammo in this game

Open Task Manager, find Deus Ex process, right click, set affinity, one core
Should work

This was my favorite piece in DXHR. Although, it isn't in the official soundtrack for some reason. You hear this throughout the whole intro walking through the Sarif building with Megan.

[sp] It's probably the most likely ending sadly. Sarif's would've actually had augmentation much, much more involved in Deus EX's timeline, which clearly didn't happen. Hugh's would've shown the Illuminati exist... That sure as hell didn't happen. Bill's is possible, of course the Illuminati should have much more control in Deus EX had this happened. [/sp]

Unless of course they got the right to reboot the series and did things slightly differently.

hold that thought
Why does this game make me hate humanity SO MUCH.
Why does this game make me hate humanity SO MUCH.
Because it's sadly true that all new technology seems to be eventually perverted and used for the wrong reasons by humanity.
We will be our own downfall.

I think I would have liked it better if I didn't know anything about the first Deus Ex. It makes the events of HR seem inconsequential.

The canon is crying.
